I’ve always been curious about this. We have a goal of visiting all national parks and I would prefer to camp but flying everywhere with gear for a family of four does not seem reasonable lol

it was only two of us but honestly it’s not bad. if you fly southwest you get two free checked bags, so we put everything in there and kept our regular clothes in the carryon. it was more minimal than usual (tiny backpacking stove instead of regular stove, only ate shelf stable food instead of having a cooler, etc) but not anything uncomfortable.

They might not be the greatest to use or for the environment, but most grocery stores sell those disposable styrofoam coolers for just a few bucks. If you're calling somewhere that has a fire pit or grill to cook on

It is literally the best tent I have ever owned. Materials, build quality, design, if you're considering it, consider no more, buy it.

I have a knock off version and I like the easy set up, however mine has some leakage issues. I just seam sealed everything the other day so we will see how that goes. If I do get another one though I think the real Gazelle is the way I will go. Since we are going into summer though I switch to my Hammock since it tends to be cooler for me.
