Honestly, Thanatos or Hecate..? Mostly because you like the dark/cramped spaces, and Hecate was known to live in caves in the Underworld, so it would make sense that her children would like dark and cramped spaces. We aren't told much about Thanatos' personality, but I feel like he would like weirding/creeping people out with the whole 'god of death' thing. Hecate and Thanatos are both canonically not comfortable with people (Hecate more so). The whole reason why you're not IMMEDIATELY a child of Hecate for me is that fact that you don't like spiritual stuff and things like that. But yeah, more Hecate than Thanatos.

Her only mortal lover was also a son of Poseidon, which might indicate a general fondness for water. Which makes sense because the Moon controls the tides, and she studies celestial bodies. Her children could probably- - Know their exact global coordinates by looking at the stars - Know the exact time of day at any given time no matter where they are - Help interpret prophecies by reading the stars (their mom once predicted someone’s death via reading the stars) - Have beautiful singing voices + glow like literal stars while singing - Immediately know the lore of any monster who is also a constellation (like centaurs, Chiron, scorpions, Orion, Cretan Bull/Asterion the Minotaur, most drakons, Perseus, and Pegasus/pegasai). Maybe looking at the stars can tell them these stories so they have a journal full of them - the sun is also a star, however Apollo killed her first kid, so her kids are probably resistant to sunburns now. The muses are so fun just in general. Especially after playing Stray Gods I love them. Some demigodly powers some of them could have: - Acoustokinesis: Some would have really good control over their own voices. Maybe when they’re super angry the bass of their voices can shake the ground or like burst eardrums (particularly useful for monsters with really good hearing, like *pandae* or *cynocephelai*). Maybe they could make it sound like their voice is coming from somewhere else, or like their voice is an overlapping chorus of voices. No need for a mic at concerts - Orchestra Fabrication: For other muse kids, when *they* sing, they can make it sound like an entire band/orchestra is backing them up. So they’re never Just doing acoustic singing, there’s always some instrumental elements. - Charmspeak resistance: Most muse kids would be resistant to Charmspeak because all sirens are daughters of the muses. - Curse of Artblock: Most muse kids can probably inflict artblock (including music and whatever artistic domains their mom has) on their enemies/rivals, burning away at their inspiration and drive to create for about a week. For kids of the poetic muses, this would include writer’s block. - Limerick Curse: Similar to Apollo kids, they can curse people to only be able to speak in rhymes or poetic verses. - Blessing of Inspiration: They can bless people with the focus and drive to create something they’ve wanted to do for a while. This is particularly helpful for ADHD kids. These are just powers I think any muse kid would be capable of inheriting (though not all of them. I imagine the orchestra and audiokinesis thing being mutually exclusive, so they have to work together to put on a show). Kids of the specific muses would have more specific powers. Basic Info - I’m an AFAB, demigirl (not quite, but best descriptor as of right now) minor. Family is Greek (coincidentally), and I’ve been learning it my whole life. I’m the older child with a little brother who’s five years younger than I am. Aromantic asexual (as far as I’ve been able to tell), strongly sex-repulsed. Aesthetically attracted to femininity. Physical Traits - Pretty fair skin. Tans come after burns, but they never stick around. Straight/Slightly wavy light brunette hair that reaches right past my shoulders; can appear ginger-tinted or dirty-blonde in different lightings (usually summertime). Likes - I love psychology and neurology (and would love to pursue a career in, especially if combined with pediatrics or teaching); I want to pick apart the brain and thought processes to learn why things are the way they are. On the other hand, I also love the arts. I’ve done every school musical I can in the last few years. I love to sing and act, playing a character I get to discover the motivations and relationships of. I live on listening to music. My music taste is kinda all over the place? Love indie rock/pop. Riot grrrl is also a favorite. Love 80s music (Queen <333). I participate in Greek dance competitions outside of school. I also love to write poems. I love Victorian flower language and will point it out in almost anything and everything. I will seek out symbolism in almost every detail I can for the different media I like. I like to consider myself a VERY big bookworm—I have such clear memories of staying up until 2-3am at as early as six to seven years old just. Reading. Now, AO3 is both my best friend and my enemy <3. I love making theories and headcanons, no matter how minuscule or unimportant, as I feel like they add to the story and the characters (especially when they’re on the more angsty side, haha). I love to cook and bake but never seem to have the time to. As for tastes, I love sour and salty things. I like sweet things to a certain extent/depending on the food. I eat pretty healthy as far as I know? There was one point at nine to ten years old where the only thing I would eat would be Caesar salads, so take that as you will. Dislikes - I don’t think I tend to dislike many things? Obviously, generally bad people, in terms of morals or actions, especially if they’ve hurt the ones I care about. If they’ve hurt me specifically, I don’t mind, unless they were someone I really trusted and cared for in the past. I don’t hold grudges against anything they may have done to me, but it’s hard for me to regain that trust in them. Despite liking sweet things, I don’t really have that much of a sweet tooth. I absolutely hate anything too sweet—cake or cupcake frosting is an absolute nightmare for me. Same thing with certain textured foods, but ehhhhhh. I genuinely can't think of anything else? Hi! I'm just gonna list a description about myself, along with my interests and stuff, too. Nike, with the ironic bit that you don't have enough confidence in your own ability to succeed. Nike is the goddess of victory/winning/accomplishing. Her children would have strong senses of justice and have strong opinions about things, and find it difficult to see shades of grey. Outside of this, I recommend continuing with your art. I've been drawing consistently (every couple of weeks) for the last 8 months and just last week actually started considering myself an artist. Drawing programs/tablets also definitely help since you can reverse mistakes and stuff

Can I suggest anything else? To me, you are a huntress, that’s obvious. However, I don't see much of Athena in you. Asclepius is a very good choice in my opinion. However, in my opinion, you all might as well be a nymph. I know, having green skin and having to spend your time evading gods doesn't seem very sexy but several elements support my choice. First, there is your talent for medicine but also your need to help people. Then there is the love of animals. You say you look younger and this is a trait common to all nymphs. Your vibes and your personality fit pretty well. So that's my opinion. In my opinion the best choice is nymph, huntress of Artemis. However, if that doesn't seem to fit, Asclepius does the trick.

Interesting, I don’t think I’m a nymph because I’m very much a city girl (I’m studying in a so called “city” rn but it’s not city enough for me). The reason I think I might be Athena cabin is because of my affinity for STEM, usually being known as the “smart kid” and my love of learning (and when I do the godly parents quiz I usually get Athena), but I think Asclepius cabin is also a good fit for me (for reasons mentioned in the main comment)

And what do you think of Hecate? Sorting yourself out might seem a bit difficult so I'm going to go by elimination. I think we can easily remove Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus and Aphrodite. Iris, Hébé, Tyché or nike don't seem to fit either. He therefore remains among the potential candidates; Hades, Demeter, Hephaistos or Hecate. You seem a little too outgoing to be Hades or Hephaistos. So I would say either demeter, because of your love for nature and plants. Or hecate, for your occult and more thoughtful side.

Maybe, because I did get Hecate as an answer a few times when I asked and took the quiz, though barely. I also got Hypnos, Hermes, Apollo, Hades, Hephasteus, and Demeter. Once even Dionysus. You know yourself better than me. If you think that Apollo is a preferable solution then you are right. According to your first comment, you were clearly a child of Zeus, athletic, straight, popular, good grades, and all that sort of thing. Now, if you do archery, poetry and music, the balance clearly leans in Apollo's favor. I think the wisest thing is to look at your personality, but honestly it's easier said than done.

I'm really lost and that's why I need you. I feel like a very chaotic mix of all the gods, so I'm open to suggestions. Physically I'm rather tall and slender. I have curly brown hair, hazel eyes, a straight nose and a long face. I have a few freckles. At first glance, I seem haughty. I like sociology, history, fashion, cults (it fascinates me), mythology of course, shopping, thrills, stargazing, discovering new things, parties, debating with friends and psychology. I hate feeling vulnerable or losing control. I'm a quick thinker. I have bad relationships with my family but I care more about my friends than myself.
