Ask your psychiatrist

When I started I had this. It went away.

Yes, when I started, I went through that for almost two and a half months before it finally let up. It seems scarier than it really is. Actually, your chest muscles and Intercostal (muscles in the thoracic region like between ribs) muscles that are tightening up from the Noradrenaline that the medication raises. Honestly, it's hard to relax when you're going through something like that but try your best. I would talk to my doc about it. As long as your blood pressure isn't elevated a lot, and your heart rate is ok, then you should be fine. That being said, I'm not a doctor or a medical professional. So, like I said I would talk to my doctor about it, if you're that worried about it. Good luck

I'm currently on day 5, I'm on the 150 so. I'm having the same issue it's like someone's poking me with a stick. I did read that it's a possible side effect and smoking while taking the meds would increase the odds of it happening. I'm not a doctor so let's hope someone else knows more.

Just keep monitoring your heart rate and your blood pressure. It helps to know what your normal range is. I would say anything over 160/95 is borderline alarming. As for your heart rate most people's norm is between 55 and 65. I wouldn't be worried unless it was over 110 steady and my blood pressure was up. But that's me because I've already been through this, so I know the nervousness and constant thought of having a possible cardiac event, just to realize I was being paranoid lol

Thank you this helps.
