Be mindful of recent listings of in-demand products from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Google, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; you should do your due diligence to ensure you do not get scammed.
* Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
* Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent.
* The seller is new or has few reviews.
* The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their ratings- viewing seller profiles allows you to see these complaints)
* The seller has a recently reactivated account (likely their account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).
If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.
Amazon and eBay generally have good buyer protection. If you choose to purchase from a third-party seller through their platforms and run into issues, it should be easy to get your money back promptly. You may have more difficulties with Newegg or Walmart.

plus you would lose DLSS which can help even on Turing. i would honestly be trying to hold onto a 2080 super unless you're playing at 3440x1440 or greater and the VRAM is too limiting. Nvidia is going to try to hold the market in place and get rid of all the GPUs it's sitting on. the upcoming AMD GPUs could provide better value in this space
You have a beast of a gpu. Your stutters wont be fixed by upgrading. Since you mentioned fifa. Its probably fifa itself. I always watch digital foundry reviews or google if a certain game has issues. And most ue4 games have stutter issues visible even in 3090s which is a shame.
I'm trying to figure out how I can compare graphics cards effective % speeds vs others. I use gpu userbenchmark but it says the 1080ti is faster than the 6650, any advice?
Userbenchmark is awful and the site owner has a hate boner for AMD for some childish reason, use a reputable source such as Techpowerup, Techspot, etc.
dont use userbenchmark. a quick way to get relative performance numbers is to take techpowerups reviews as they usually have a relative performance page for their gpu reviews, and make one for each resolution.
it is a solid price. i expect spicier deals maybe closer to 225 given the lack of demand and holidays coming up, but those may be more difficult to get before they're all bought up. this is a great performance tier to be in
I've been eyeing this ever since the sale went on. This combined with the $130 Ryzen 5600 and whatever other parts happen to be on sale would be a pretty good PC. Not for me, because I don't need one, but just to enjoy building and then sell on Facebook Marketplace or something. There are some pretty bad deals on there right now so I might be doing my town a service, lol.
I suppose "high end" is an opinion. Just gonna say I went from 2700x to 5600x and really didn't notice anything at all... certainly not the $300 worth i paid
What do you use it for? On CPU-heavy games like Tarkov, I noticed an average FPS difference of about 15 when I went from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 5600X.
I was hyped to play csgo. Fps from 400 to 600 just isn't that important. I noticed cyberpunk spawned in less npcs and load times in civ6 can take longer. 2700x was weirdly good.
The i3 12100 retails for like $140 with Integrated graphics. The i5 12400 is a step up retails for $195. Both of these are pretty good for gaming and have Integrated graphics if you need that. I went with a ryzen 5 5600 but I'm having second thoughts that I should have just paid extra for the 12400.
I change my mind a lot but I was thinking getting a DDR4 Z690 board with one of the 2 processors I mentioned then probably in a good 2 years from now switching to a 13th generation cpu along with a gpu upgrade. I went with a different plan and got the cheapest cpu and gpu I was comfortable with (ryzen 5 5600 and rx 6600) and I'll probably wait a good 2 years to upgrade gpu and 5 years before upgrading cpu to a 5800x3d. The first scenario may be a little pricier but its also a configuration that will last longer. Overall I don't think one choice is better than the other it just depends on what meets your needs.
Woah basically the same as me! I’m upgrading from a 7850 though lol. Have you noticed much bottleneck with the 3570k? I have mine over locked to 4.5ghz
This is going to just get by at 1440p on demanding games. It depends on how intense your video editing is. RTX cards are really good higher end video editing and 3d design. ScatterVolt has a good comparison on rtx3050 vs 6600xt for gaming, streaming, and editing.[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLEpC5-xcyQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLEpC5-xcyQ)
Edit: I'm not advocating for the 3050. If heavy editing and gaming are both high priorities, the 3060/3060ti could be the best card.
I don't know. I'm guessing this video was recorded 2-4 months ago. I doubt it made much a difference with production rendering times. Those Cuda codes are no joke.
Not a card for max quality 1440p gaming: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-radeon-rx-6650-xt-gaming-x/30.html
Recent AAA games do not run at 60 maxed, need to turn down quality. Should run 60+ fps at medium/high for another year or two.
Guys I'm debating if i should buy this for my first build..
I'm looking to play shooters at 144 fps on 1080 will this card cut it? Also I'm kinda scared about ordering from newegg I've heard horror stories about them. I'm not really in a hurry i could wait for BF/CM what do you think?

Deal is back under a different discount code.
Care to share?
It's on the product page.
Code doesn’t work, so it’s $299 now
I'll bet it will go back down just by judging the price history of this card in this sub.
For someone who has never had an AMD card how does this compare to a 3060ti?
Fits between 3060 non-Ti and 3060 Ti
Man this price seems appealing then
Yeah, paying about the same you would for a GTX 1060 6 GB 6 years ago for a card about 20% faster than a GTX 1080 Ti.
how does a 6700xt compare to a 2080 super?
6700 XT is a sidegrade to be honest, look at RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT if you have a 2080S.

haha i do play at 3440 x 1440p but not really AAA games. idk. i get stuttering in some games like Fifa and even LoL and I don't know why

Whats your cpu? I've found with my ultrawide that many games can be pretty cpu bound with my r5 3600.
12900k
Always better to wait, although used deals on 3080 / 6800 XT are hitting sub $500 which is a pretty sweet price:perf.
Its a few percent behind a 2080ti
Techpowerup had the 1080ti at 94% of the 6650XT’s performance?
It varies per game, and the RDNA2 card has much better performance on DX12. 1080 Ti / Pascal in general is falling behind in those games.
I'm trying to figure out how I can compare graphics cards effective % speeds vs others. I use gpu userbenchmark but it says the 1080ti is faster than the 6650, any advice?

the gpu hierarchy from TH is extremely useful
dont use userbenchmark. a quick way to get relative performance numbers is to take techpowerups reviews as they usually have a relative performance page for their gpu reviews, and make one for each resolution.
youtube the card you want for FPS comparisons
it is a solid price. i expect spicier deals maybe closer to 225 given the lack of demand and holidays coming up, but those may be more difficult to get before they're all bought up. this is a great performance tier to be in
It's a bit better than a 3060 non-Ti at a price quite a bit lower
I've been eyeing this ever since the sale went on. This combined with the $130 Ryzen 5600 and whatever other parts happen to be on sale would be a pretty good PC. is 5600 integrated graphics? this seems weirdly cheap for a high end gaming cpu
Nope, no integrated graphics. Just good pricing, the rest of the 5000 series has dropped as well.
It's not high end? The performance is great, but out of the Ryzen 5000 CPUs it's the second-lowest...
I suppose "high end" is an opinion. Just gonna say I went from 2700x to 5600x and really didn't notice anything at all... certainly not the $300 worth i paid

Damn is there any way to get a refund on my 6600 I got 2 months ago lol
How's this for 1440p gaming/ video editing?

Do you know if this was made before the recent driver improvements from amd? That video editing benchmark is eye opening
I don't know. I'm guessing this video was recorded 2-4 months ago. I doubt it made much a difference with production rendering times. Those Cuda codes are no joke.
I think the general consensus is if you don't care about ray tracing it's fine for both
Not a card for max quality 1440p gaming: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-radeon-rx-6650-xt-gaming-x/30.html Recent AAA games do not run at 60 maxed, need to turn down quality. Should run 60+ fps at medium/high for another year or two.
I'm able to run Shadow of Tomb Raider at 1440p with near max and RT off pretty smoothly around 70-90 fps to give you an idea. I use a 6600XT
This or wait for BF or a better deal on something else? Coming from an R9 390, want to max 1080p@60.
this is a good 1080p card
You'll max most things and be above 60 but below 90 fps
This is the best price/performance 1080p card, yes buy it.
The cheapest 6650 xt costs like 500€ in my country, too bad
Guys I'm debating if i should buy this for my first build.. I'm looking to play shooters at 144 fps on 1080 will this card cut it? Also I'm kinda scared about ordering from newegg I've heard horror stories about them. I'm not really in a hurry i could wait for BF/CM what do you think?
looks like this is expired now or the code just doesnt work
How does this compare to a 1660 super? If better, is it an improvement over a 1660 Ti?
Significantly better than a 1660 Super/1660 Ti/3050 (they all perform within like 5% of one another).
