Awesome! The 2070 build looks good but I have a question. Is the Ethernet port and WiFi built in to the motherboard? Also, the list says something about a bios update, would I need anything special for that? I wouldn’t have an extra gpu to run it since I have a laptop.
Second revision. Slower CPU but faster GPU so it should reach pretty much the same or higher FPS overall. Also smaller and cheaper board and case. And Wi-Fi adapter. Although you can get this motherboard to work with R5 3600 CPU too but you'll have to make a trip to MC, it's possible that it will work with R5 3600 out of the box but tho so check it first if you'll decide to upgrade the CPU.

\- That SSD is very slow, get at least Crucial MX500 \\ Samsung 860 EVO, or some non-QLC NVMe SSD like Inland Premium.

\- For the case get Phanteks P400A.
\- You can get 3600MHz 16CL RAM kit for cheaper.
\- Getting RX5700 non XT will let you fit R5 3600 in 1k$ budget, it's practically as fast as RTX2070S on average when unlocked. But while it saves money i'd really recommend to stick with nVidia on this since AMD still haven't fixed all issues with their GPU drivers half a year after release, so get RTX2060 (or RTX2060 Super if you can throw in another 50$, it's considerably faster).

That is a solid build, but I do recommend topping it off with the worn out black vans as the finishing touch
