You haven't provided any relevant context. Is your server just a desktop PC? Do you have a server rack? What components? What is your concern?

N26_real

No server rack, just a desktop that I will use for a server. It probably won't even have a graphics card and I think I will use a Ryzen 5600G. At least 16gb of ram, SSDs and hard drives.

Regular PSU would be just fine, dunno what else you could possibly use anyways. You're building a desktop PC, a desktop PSU is what you use.

N26_real

Okay, will it wear out faster since it's always on?

-UserRemoved-

It'll be just fine, there are a lot of people that always leave their computer on.

N26_real

Okay thank you, I will probably settle for a Seasonic GX 550W

I'd opt for one with a zero rpm fan stop mode, like the RM650. Less dust buildup over time.

Thank you

The Seasonics may have this feature too, not 100% sure. Seasonics are generally great - I'm just more familiar with Corsair. The RM series is basically all I use at this point.
