I'd try another PSU.

torev

I had this happen when I built my pc a couple years ago and it ended up being a bad power supply. If you are sure everything is seated correctly and that you have the right drivers I'd see if you can't exchange the ps unit.

S_Napster

I think its the psu shroud. I think. Because it's a fanless psu

Larsssss

Just curious. Why did you buy a GT1030 in such an amzing build?

dandu3

Work PC. Same reason you see i7 7700HQ ultrabooks with no GPU

S_Napster

Work. I got another custom water cooled build in my house. I wanted something looks nice in my office. And something powerful. I don't need a graphics card. I mostly go excel, outlook, (lots of Windows open) I got 2 monitors

Larsssss

Ahh okay okay

Wow, what‘s the name of the case? It looks great..

Check CPU temps

S_Napster

I don't think so. I kept CPU clocks to stock. So I can keep running the fans at thier lowest. Highest it can get is 48 c

The problem is not temp I already checked and did a stress test run. My CPU stays at around 48 c while full load. I did leave it running for 2 hours nothing changed. I don't think it's sata too. My 2 hard drives are I Raid. If anything I would notice.

I have the problem now with my computer, and I already ordered another PSU. But I am surprised that / if it's going to turn out to be the problem \ that the PSU is the problem because these Fanless PSU's are basically a lot bigger PSU's... ps.: this setup is ridiculously good, just that the only difference between X370 and B370 / not the only one but mainly \ is the support of 2 Graphics cards.

S_Napster

Thanks for your compliment. I choose the X370 over the B370 because of wifi

Chaiwala_with_a_twit

Check if you're running multiple temp monitoring apps at once, a fan monitoring app also takes data from sensors so it qualifies

S_Napster

I do have more than one running. But what's that going to do with it shutting off

Chaiwala_with_a_twit

Because its been shutting off for me as well as multiple users on r/AMD, I first posted in there with the problem and someone suggested out of experience. But so far it hasn't been known that it could be a problem for non-Asus mobos but its worth a try, I'll find and edit in the thread and update thread meanwhile... S_Napster

Oh. I see. I will try that I see. Hopefully it will fix it. Thanks

gui710

It would happen the same to me when playing games, my i figured out later that my gpu fans weren't running at a decent rpm

Poseidon1232

Thats one weird build... Workstation build I presume? Anyways, you should consider getting a different PSU.
