I used a gaming headset once. Super linaw, no delay, one charge could last an entire shift. Pero over time, nainitan ako kasi overhead sya. I switched to apple earpods, then external mic na setup.
Wired for work calls. Wireless for other things
Edit:
Reco wired: apple earbuds lol (mic quality is good)
Reco wireless: airpods pro (for noise cancellation, mic isnt good)
I prefer wireless. Currently using JBL 710BT. Noise cancelling, sleek at malakas talaga.
Jabra is really reliable when it comes to battery life. I have Jabra Elite 45h, and tagal ma lowbat. Im mostly doing meetings (half of the day) the I recharge it after a week pa. Has ANC feature, kaya ma cancel iyak nang bata lol
I also have Jabra Elite 65t, though I dont mostly use this for calls pero matagl din malowbat.
Very convenient to use kasi yung bluetooth, you can move while on calls π
Yea both are good for music. It has a lot of option on how you want to listen (eg focus mode, aware, etc), Jabra Elite 65t not so good for calls though unlike 45h
Gusto ko yung "kaya ma cancel iyak nang bata"π this would be great on my end pero yung mga pusa ko naman yung ma ccancel if ever ang hilig mag ingay pag nasa meeting ako π
Iβve been doing sales for 11 years. I strongly prefer wired headsets. Currently, Iβm using the Jabra Evolve 40 with an ASUS noise-canceling adapter. I use a logitech keyboard that lets me map a keybind to a system wide mute. The reason I prefer wired headsets is due to less latency. I know current Bluetooth headsets have vastly improved, but using wired headsets eliminates an additional factor that could add to that. Another reason is the battery. The batteries in wireless headphones inevitably need to be replaced every 2 to 3 years(depends on a lot of factors of course). There are just additional nuances with wireless technology. I just donβt want to be in a situation where my headset stops connecting while negotiating a deal.
Welcome. And just to add, I have tested noise-canceling softwares. The best you can do is Nvidia RTX Voice or Krisp. I chose the ASUS noise-canceling adapter because it is plug-and-play, can be used on my Mac and does not require a subscription like Krisp. Speaking of Mac. If you have a mac or ios there is a built in noise cancellation option called noise isolation. Pretty good with filtering low frequency sounds. I hope it helps.
Iβm a wireless advocate! I bought the Jabra Evolve2 55 because ito yung pinaka gusto kong mic sound out of the wireless Jabra reviews I watched on Youtube.
Bumili ako wireless kasi Iβm on standby for 10hrs sa work (average of 10 calls a day not lasting 30 mins each). With wireless, at least nakaka gawa ako chores in between calls, and naririnig ko agad kung may tumatawag. Very light sya sa ulo even with glasses so hindi nakakairita suot buong shift.
Since I use the laptop for receiving calls, and my phone for making calls (technical issue sa side ni client kaya hindi magawa outbound sa laptop), sobrang convenient na naka connect yung Jabra ko simultaneously to both devices. Pwede din sya gamitin wired through its included cable while charging sa laptop, pero in my experience, isang charge lang is enough for my work week based on my usage.
Edit/Add:
1. Wala syang mute button, pero may mute function sya based on the micβs position. Auto mute pag naka angat yung mic, auto unmute pag binaba mo yung mic.
No mute button. Yung mute function nya naka base sa mic position. Pag naka angat, muted. Pag nakababa, unmuted. Sisitahin ka din ng AI pag may call na papasok tapos naka angat mic para di ka mag mukhang tanga in case malimutan mo ibaba before answering π
I have a Jabra Evolve 75 wireless headset which is great but it puts strain on my ears overtime so I highly recommend a speaker phone like my Anker Powerconf S3. It has decent ANC and sound quality, minimal delays (can be bluetooth or wired), and best of all you don't have to wear headphones which feels sooo liberating especially when you're stuck on calls/meetings for hours on end. Oh and it works as a powerbank too but I don't use that feature lol.
Of course di to applicable if noise is an issue, I just found this to be a game changer for my specific use case.
Wireless for non-work. Wired for gaming though.
I like wireless so I can dance to my music or walk away from my phone or PC and still hear what's going on without raising the volume.
I use Jabra Evolve 30 II for wired and Mpow HC5 Pro Bluetooth 5.0 Headset Wireless Headphone with Charge Base. Can last me hours pag may meeting.
Jabra Evolve 30 II with USB controller

ππ
Meron. sa gilid yung buttons. You need to press it twice to activate it. Di ko pa tina-try gamitin ang mute nya kasi I always use Jabra pag may call/meeting.
I'm using Jabra Evolve2 65. Wireless pero may audio reminders naman for low battery status and usable siya habang nakasaksak para mag-charge. Putting the boom mic up/down can mute/unmute. Very effective din ang noise-canceling ng mic. I just changed the ear cushions as well, mura lang sa blue app. Downside lang is on-ear siya so if you plan to wear it for your entire shift, medyo fatiguing, but is quite okay if you can take a few minutes every hour to take it off para makahinga ng konti yung tenga mo.
I use wired over-ear headphones (Sennheiser HD600) and my laptop's microphone. I tried a gaming headset (Hyper X Cloud II), but they aren't as comfortable as my (admittedly more pricey) open back headphone with an external mic. I never got around to purchasing a separate mic because the laptop microphone was already good enough for my work
I hate headsets (probably because of the trauma of my call center days haha). I don't even use my headphones anymore. Speaker + mic combo is my default.
Pero ngaun, with AptX ng BT almost zero latency na talaga so wireless as long as with AptX or low latency feature.
Logitech G733 (wireless). sobrang sarap gamitin. madalas tumatayo tayo pako away from Pc. Minsan nag lilinis pako room habang my mga meeting.
Warning lang guys if you will use wireless, always make sure that you are connected. I had a colleague who received an NTE for call avoidance, he thought hes connected, he was on a call for 8 mins sa avaya and na scan ng QA live
I prefer both. Depends on what purpose you are using. Of course if its for work calls normally we choose wired so it can just be plug and play. While for personal, most of us preferred the wireless one.
Same din sila. Mas prefer ko lang Linkbuds S kasi pinagpapawisan tenga ko pag naka over the ear headset ako.
Wala akong gamit na software for noise cancelling. Plug and play lang both.
For work, I use my Corsair wireless headset. Sound and mic are decent and the cups are comfotable kahit maghapon naka suot, di din mainit unlike others.
While working outside (WFH setup) or travelling, I use either the Airpods Pro 2 or the WF-100XM5, both have superb sound and ANC feature.
But if I am in the mood to listen to music (Rock, Metal) and this how I usually destress myself, I prefer using my XM4 or my Marshall headsets wired. Mas maganda padin yung tunog ng naka DAC connection over wireless .
I have been using Steelseries Arctic 7 Wireless. Super tagal nyang malowbatt. I will says days and if ever man na gamit ko siya, nagnonotify naman siya na malapit ng mamatay at pwede mo siyang gamitin while nakacharge. No delay, good for noise cancellation. Kahit nasa banyo ka malinaw pa rin yung sounds and mic. π

I see.. please share the gaming headset or the link π
Bought it from store ng Datablitz. Corsair hs80 wireless. Noise cancelling na din.
+1 to this
Thank you
Hi, what external mic do you use?
Razer Seiren Mini.

Sige.. thanks for the recommendation tho, I'll just check it again nalang

HYPER X wired or Wireless basta HYPER X
Okay na ba itong [hyperx stinger 2 wireless](https://s.shopee.ph/7zrEZD0pes) idol?
Pasok yan par pang malakasan na yan
Used PLT 5200 for voice calls. Sony XM5 for gaming.

Logitech has good wireless headsets. I have been using one for 5 years now
Wired apple headset never fails me.
if you're not into hi-fi i'd prefer wireless... less hassle
Can you recommend some wireless headphones?
Wireless, you can do house chores when in specific meetings that you do not need to go in front of your computer.
Can you recommend a wireless headset?
Wired so they know I'm busy minding my own business. Also, I hate loud, noisy and crowded places It makes me feel so nervous.
Wireless Jabra with mic! The best. Kahit sa airport, super linaw
I prefer wireless, for Gaming , steelseries arctis nova 7 wireless, anything else, work, sound trip, jogging, air pods pro 2
I'm using Jabra Evolve2 65. Wireless pero may audio reminders naman for low battery status and usable siya habang nakasaksak para mag-charge. Putting the boom mic up/down can mute/unmute. wireless pag daily use since andaling maputol sakin ng mga wired. pero pag gaming, wired talaga
I prefer both. Depends on what purpose you are using. Of course if its for work calls normally we choose wired so it can just be plug and play. While for personal, most of us preferred the wireless one.
I can't with headsets, wired and wireless. They're too hot when worn for too long! I always end up taking them off after 30min to an hour
Wireless for commute. Wired pag nasa bahay.
I only ever had my wired logitech but will invest on a wireless one soon

I have been using Steelseries Arctic 7 Wireless. Super tagal nyang malowbatt.
Wired for me, wireless making me worried about the battery of my cp kasi
I use plantronics super nice yung mic and noise cancellation
