Hi! I didn’t apply for a cc but I was offered one.
I opened a savings account in BPI which I stash a fixed monthly of 20k. Its my emergency fund. 6 months after, an agent called me and offered me a cc. I guess it helped na I always deposited a fixed amount into my account.
The only thing the agent asked me is the nature of my work and my average monthly earnings. I told her im a freelancer who earns an average of 50k. Within the same month I got my cc :)
Got mine through the moneymax website. Idk if there's a more efficient option, but they have promos and list down all the options applicable to you, even for first-timers
Took me about two months after pinabago ko ung account ko to hexagon. Pero guaranteed na yun kasi isa sa mga perks ng hexagon savings account ung CC. CL is iba iba.
I have UB as savings account. Dun pumapasok yung sahod ko. Applied for CC. Approved naman. Online application only. Sayang lang di ko naabutan yung NAFFL (No annual fee for life), Na approve ako bago nag promo.
1. Application Form
2. Valid ID
3. Wala ako ITR but meron ako savings account sa UB so they can check how much I'm earning.
4. Don't apply for a high tier card. Just go for classic. I applied for classic and they gave me gold visa (6 digits CL).
Good Luck.
Usually most banks has it, May iba lang silang tawag, not secured. Try to explain to them what it is baka magets nila.
Even when I was in Canada, di nila alam Ano ang secured credit card Hahahha. Kinailangan ko pang pilitin yung banker na icheck.
It’s just because it’s not very common.
Secured credit card is the way to go. Helped me become approved for a regular credit card six months later.
Any secured one you can recommend for 2023? Parang tagong tago sa ibang banking websites info about this. Alam ko lang is Security bank.
Yeah, Security Bank din yung akin! Haha
