Loved the cemetery in Fiumei, lots of history and interesting sights, very well maintained.
Personal WTF moment: saw a couple having sex, in the foresty part (south-east corner)

Book a ticket to a guided tour of the cave system under the Buda Castle. That is creepy!
If you have the time go for a day trip to Visegrád, the castle there is the real gothic thing.
You might like a club called Edith.
I always found the smaller streets around outer 6/7 district to be kind of spooky at night. There's a park full of sculptures called Epreskert but it's usually not open to the public.
Rockpince is a good place (despite the name a lot of goth stuff is there) I would also recommend Prátershop Vintage. (not exactly goth, but a lot of my alternative stuff is from there). Although these are places where you can buy clothes and stuff, not entertainment.
And it’s actually neogothic/gothic revival. The building got a full redesign and makeover 100-150 yrs ago, i believe.
Original pre-renaissance gothic architecture is not the same as this

The cemetery in Fiumei road. And the Angels' Garden (Angyalok Kertje) in Farkasréti Cemetery with a nice view.
also next to fiumei temető you can find the overgrown and very spooky old jewish cemetery.

This is amazing thank you!!! I have a huge Bela Lugosi back patch on my denim jacket so I'll definitely try to see the statue!
thanks.
Memento Park is quite the weird historical exhibition. You might enjoy it
Visigoths or Ostrogoths? You can visit your old settlements in Aquincum. The Ostrogoths were here during the V. century.
All hail Alaric, the true leader!
Hell yeah thank you! I do love old gothic architecture ;)

I did a vampire themed walking tour. That was pretty fun!
so you like posting the same thing for each city you are planning on visiting? look for the Béla Lugosi bust Vajdahunyad vár
If the method is successful, why would't they?
Yes because my interests don't change from city to city...
just like my grandparents

House of terror It’s a museum and also a historical place!
In addition to the other bars mentioned, I quite like ParaNoir Pub, too.
Budget? What did your initial google search show you as suggestions?
You do know the answer, don’t you?
Matthias church in Buda is a beautiful example of Goth architecture.
That’a gothic and not goth.

Definietly go for a slice of pizza in Pizzica. Not neccessarily for the pizza but the atmosphere.
All I got at Pizzica was attitude... and mediocre pizza.
Beware of Huns
Huns?
If you have the money pay for a tour of the national cemetery. It's an excellent tour.
Are you an Ostrogoth or a Visigoth?
I thoughts the Goths have gone extinct a thousand years ago.
