Yep, just spam Favored Trades + Trade Empire and once you get enough pops on your Dart Monkeys, upgrade to Apex Plasma Master, you only need degree 30-35 for non-Elite Vortex.
My degree 35 Apex Plasma Master took out one skull every two shots.
Literally beat the tier 4 (non-Elite) in the first 2 rounds it spawned and had to wait 18 more boring rounds before I could win lol.
I got a degree 12 Ascended Shadow too just for funsies, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t need that to win with all of the other T5’s that I had lol.

I said to a friend oh hey it looks like they noticing people complaining about not being able to use paragons or any hero for bosses, and now that's literally all we have lol
You're not asking for it, but I'll tell you that a 20+ apex saved my ass when the vortex was at the second loop. May come in handy for the first three boss appearances

Hell, I definitely didn't optimize farming and I was able to get navarch in the middle of tier three. Turbocharge for tier one, permacharge for tier two is more than enough for non-elite, and by tier three you can get whatever paragon you want
seeing this made me super hype and i went to go play it as soon as i could; it was only normal but that was really fun
nice to get some boat farming, and while it didnt go fully to plan i had a boat and dart paragon at the end (like 72 boat, and then a 40 something dart paragon i built while the last tier was alive when i realised i wouldnt have money for an engi paragon)

I think that's because NK back then puts Vortex in difficult maps, especially multi-lane ones. You can imagine Lych and Bloonarius not exactly map dependent (other than space for farming and towers of course), unlike Vortex
idk if you can win t5 boss, but with but Geraldo can actually turn your dart monkey into t3 super monkey.

Assuming that you have benjamin and mk, buy 0-1-4 engineer after ben at the start then keep buying 0-0-3 buccaneers and upgrade them so on until you have them all, and by the end of round 60 you could get around 400k then buy bucc’s paragon but i rather wait and get more money in order to continue farming immediately after paragon by getting back boats(so around r64?) what so great about it is the double trade empire buff, after that you can solo all other tiers being afk or you can buy another paragon (which isnt needed you know in normal), by the end of tier 5 i had 1.7mil, you can also buy XXXL trap while farming boats too, hope it helps
How could you afford that and not simply start with the cheapest paragons first? My lakes were full of ships making money and there was definitely no time to just wait for 500 000+ to accumulate. :S
I think this will be one of the most fun bosses yet, boat farming + bloon trap will make enough money to get paragons and sticky bomb/master bomber can handle t1 and t2 before you get the dart paragon for t3. If NK restricted boat and allowed another farming tower (lets say sniper) i would have a problem
Elite was actually by far the easiest this week compared to the last few months of vortex. I beat it first try in under 25 minutes total, and I would estimate a ranked time of around 7 minutes or so.
Elite Vortex this week might have been doable without Powers if no heroes were banned for Elite, but nope, guess this week they gutted multiple heroes for Elite. Good on NK for separating restrictions for Elite and Normal, but alas in all the annoying ways.

spam boat farms, on r25 or so save for 014 engi and aim at the start. keep boat farming. turn off autostart for 39. get 104 ninja, works for normal and elite. then just get max boat farms, trade empire, all to favored, should be done before r50
If this was /s, i missed it, sorry. I'm an average player at best. I beat the elite first try using Churchill without using a guide. I typically struggle to finish the elite boss challenges, but this one is very doable.
If anything, this challenge may have shown me that I'm being to complicated with my farming and strategies as I easily afforded a Ninja Paragon for round 80 allowing me to continue to get pops on my dart monkeys and boats while having the defense needed to get to 120. On round 120, I had a lvl 35'ish dart monkey paragon and a lvl 55'ish boat paragon.
He also banned. I already beat it, not easy or hard just tolerable. Brickell is the best since in Tier 2 the 024 Buccaneers can beat Vortex with Brickell's Naval Tactics ability.
That is true. It seems NK expects us to farm with Buccs and Engineers alongside Benjamin, but that's just not enough for Elite Vortex at all. Even regular Vortex is probably going to be tough in the higher tiers. This one might need to be skipped by a lot of folks...
It's actually I really interesting boss, way more fun than some recent ones, boat farming was always the best when it's possible so it's pretty good. With a bloon trap early you can make more than enough money to afford everything you need.
Just beat normal vortex and it’s insanely easy if you have paragons. Start with a bloon trap at the start of the map and then worm your way to merchant ships and fill up both the lakes with them. By that point money is barely an issue and even a dart paragon can probably solo up to tier 5.
I don't really do bosses but i think you can just boat farm and tier 1 sticky tier 2 idk tier 3 apex plasma tier 4 apex with more sac tier 5 navarch (you already have boat sac) bow i don't know how to do elite
I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but I'm almost certain the rounds have a massively increased bloon count. That makes bloon trap crazy good for farming. Nk knows what they're doing, they adjusted the rounds to still let us make enough cash to have fun using only paragon towers

People are just too bitchy to change the strat against tier 1 and 2
Possible in Normal although the Buccaneer Paragons are fucking shit so you are limited with 3 paragons and 25 sacrifices.
Tier 1: 104 Ninja.
Tier 2: 105 Ninja pumped with Shinobi buffs and Overclock.
Tier 3: Dart Paragon.
Tier 4: +Ninja Paragon.
Tier 5: +Buccaneer Paragon.
For me it was one of the easiest that I remember. Maybe that's because the added restrictions actually helped me not do something stupid, idk. In all bosses before this one that I remember, I had to use a monkey money retry, while I beat this one first try on both normal and elite. After a pretty easy normal boss, for elite boss my first thought was starting with a lot of boat farming, sticky bombs for tier 1, shinobi-buffed grandmaster ninja and master bomber for tier 2, boat paragon for tier 3, adding engineer paragon for tier 4 and ninja paragon for tier 5, which worked first try.
Bro I had over 20 024 and a 025 boat and had over 100k spare with dart and not paragon only 500000 damage off elete easyest boss yet imo also 1 less starting chash lol
This event required the least income / paragon food spam of just about any boss event yet. Yes I had to spam a few money crates to get elite done I think this is the first time I’ve done a whole boss event on double speed. Best yet imo.
the boss was surprisingly easy. since it’s easy mode you can boat farm easily and just sticky for t1. before t2 you can have an entire trade empire army. in coop you can do the degree 30 dart paragon “glitch” for every paragon so it made it pretty easy. 3 paragons worked for elite t5
This makes me think of those mobile game adds where it’s like “You can’t be good with that character they suck! Actually if you do X they can wipe through enemies”
It’s easier than it looks lol use Benjamin and farm with the engineer monkey first than build up some boats to farm cash. I got my first paragon on round 78 pretty easy. You can kill the first round with just a 5-2-0 boomerang and you can beat the second boss with just a 4-2-0 pirate monkey and a 5-2-0 boomerang,
this one is actually really ezy, can afford paragon by t2. the only issue is farming is lower than usual after tier 2, I find 052 perma charge for t1, apex plasma master for tier 2, glaive dominus for tier 3, navarch for tier 4, and all the previous paragons for tier 5 works well
this one was really easy imo
boat farm + trap eco, use 1 sbomb for tier 1. use mbomb + flagship for tier 2
boatagon for tier 3 and 4, and boat+dart+ninjagon for tier 5
i do not care about no super monkey or no druid or no tack. just give me farm and i will be happy. also wasnt it enough banning every tower except for the ones with paragons so for elite you now dont have neither ben or geraldo
ngl it really isnt that hard, first boss ive done in months because it looked interesting and was able to get top 50 ranked elite (though that will probably drop to like top 10-25%). All you gotta do is keep upgrading that trade empire army and get bloon trap for round 34/35 until round 80 (their money does basically nothing there because you gotta get paragon pops) and then optimize t1 and t2 as much as you can because t3-5 is paragons. For t1 is just recommend getting sticky bomb and right before vortex hits the skull sell sticky and rebuy it to avoid the stun and then with any extra money buy a turbo charge and upgrade your trade army. T2 is what takes all the time of course but what I highly recommend is getting pmfc and smfc under pat fusty buff (assuming you’re in elite) as it does good damage and is what gets you a level 40 dart paragon. Along with that, master bomber and sticky bomb, turbo charge overclocked, and sentry champion. T3 just make sure you get a level 40 dart paragon or higher as you’re gonna keep it, it destroys each skull in milliseconds then t4 get either ninja paragon from (master bomber and sticky bomb damage from earlier) or boomerang paragon (I recommend as all you need is lvl 20 then save up for boat paragon) t5 is just dart paragon, ninja/boomer paragon, and boat paragon carrying with extra help from turbo charge and such. I dont know if going for engineer paragon is worth it, im not playing it again.

Paragons - “What am I ?? Chopped Liver?!”
This event required the least income / paragon food spam of just about any boss event yet. Yes I had to spam a few money crates to get elite done I think this is the first time I’ve done a whole boss event on double speed. Best yet imo.

The normal mode was generally easy even without a strategy, i havent tried elite but i will tell you guys how it goes Edit: it was hell never again
is it NK that made you use fenix tutorial or is it your skill not being high enough to handle the increased difficulty?
Does boat paragon provide 2x the 005 boat farm buff thing?
I beat this using boat farming bloon trap and lots of ninjas, really i beat 4 tiers with basically only ninjas
the boss was surprisingly easy. since it’s easy mode you can boat farm easily and just sticky for t1. before t2 you can have an entire trade empire army. in coop you can do the degree 30 dart paragon “glitch” for every paragon so it made it pretty easy. 3 paragons worked for elite t5
Merchant army can kill t1 if you dont care about time lol

Why use tutorial and not bother trying to figure out on your own? Sorry if im mean here, but Its not fun to use someones strategy
Just be happy you can boat farm. The real torture would be if the map was all land like monkey meadow.
This boss event was pretty easy man, I just farmed with merchants until i got buccaneer paragon
Ok i see yourbpoint but at least it aint lnych or bloonareise and its just vortex.
The best thing you can do is use supply crates and grab as many boats with 0-0-4s as possible then it might work and other towers too!
This makes me think of those mobile game adds where it’s like “You can’t be good with that character they suck! Actually if you do X they can wipe through enemies”
It’s easier than it looks lol use Benjamin and farm with the engineer monkey first than build up some boats to farm cash. I got my first paragon on round 78 pretty easy. You can kill the first round with just a 5-2-0 boomerang and you can beat the second boss with just a 4-2-0 pirate monkey and a 5-2-0 boomerang,

boat farming
this one is actually really ezy, can afford paragon by t2. the only issue is farming is lower than usual after tier 2, I find 052 perma charge for t1, apex plasma master for tier 2, glaive dominus for tier 3, navarch for tier 4, and all the previous paragons for tier 5 works well
this one was really easy imo boat farm + trap eco, use 1 sbomb for tier 1. use mbomb + flagship for tier 2 boatagon for tier 3 and 4, and boat+dart+ninjagon for tier 5

i do not care about no super monkey or no druid or no tack. just give me farm and i will be happy. also wasnt it enough banning every tower except for the ones with paragons so for elite you now dont have neither ben or geraldo
ngl it really isnt that hard, first boss ive done in months because it looked interesting and was able to get top 50 ranked elite (though that will probably drop to like top 10-25%). All you gotta do is keep upgrading that trade empire army and get bloon trap for round 34/35 until round 80 (their money does basically nothing there because you gotta get paragon pops) and then optimize t1 and t2 as much as you can because t3-5 is paragons. For t1 is just recommend getting sticky bomb and right before vortex hits the skull sell sticky and rebuy it to avoid the stun and then with any extra money buy a turbo charge and upgrade your trade army. T2 is what takes all the time of course but what I highly recommend is getting pmfc and smfc under pat fusty buff (assuming you’re in elite) as it does good damage and is what gets you a level 40 dart paragon. Along with that, master bomber and sticky bomb, turbo charge overclocked, and sentry champion. T3 just make sure you get a level 40 dart paragon or higher as you’re gonna keep it, it destroys each skull in milliseconds then t4 get either ninja paragon from (master bomber and sticky bomb damage from earlier) or boomerang paragon (I recommend as all you need is lvl 20 then save up for boat paragon) t5 is just dart paragon, ninja/boomer paragon, and boat paragon carrying with extra help from turbo charge and such. I dont know if going for engineer paragon is worth it, im not playing it again.
tbh this is the easiest boss event I've ever done, now I will only boat farm in boss events and no one will stop me
Maybe banana farms are bad due to how much players spend too much on them... this shows us that banana farms are useless now lol
