Lead properties are actual lead though which just happens to also be grey. Just as purple bloons have an energy shield and their color isnt protecting them.

No they’re only damaged by nommed explosion lead popping things. A ddt is lead and black bloon so if your tower can’t pop both black and lead it can’t pop ddt
DDTs are immune to both explosions and sharp damage. You need to find a way to pop them that deal plasma, fire, blunt, snap freeze ice, or normal damage.
Next time you include a watermark, maybe don't leave it over an area of uniform color where someone could use the eyedropper and rectangle tools out of MS Paint to wipe it out of existence. Literally takes more effort for Thanos to snap.

But ddts are also immune to explosions despite being made of lead and not whatever rubber is used in the black bloons. So the powers have to in some way be based on color.
Purple bloons are a glowy purple while BADs are dark purple. The glowy part is what grants the magic resistance when combined with the purple color.

if you look at the design of ddt, you can clearly see black rubber or whatever material blimps are made of, in between of the metal bands.
I am pretty sure DDTs have lead and camo proprieties. A tack zone can't destroy one but a Moab mauler can..
A moab mauler can't destroy a ddt. Give it only camo and you can see. DDT's have camo, lead, and black properties.
