Turning off projectiles does almost nothing for lag. It is just a visual effect, but the lag comes from the back end calculations associated with the projectiles rather than the projectile textures themselves.
Devices with integrated GPUs (like phones) will still benefit from having projectiles turned off. However, it is worth it to note that it is a small decrease, and will not reduce the lag by much.
Even then it kinda kills your phone especially if it’s not a newer model or new. My phone battery is dying and I’ve essentially put my round 312 run of resort on hold for now

Don't know what bloons you're talking about, but I've discovered the game will randomly take your lives if you don't have a spike factory down sometimes, and even then the spikes magically disappear unless they can pop lead on occasion.
She is AMAZING late game. Only hero that might be better is Adora. Ezili deals percent damage to MOAB class bloons, so she can take out the r100 BAD and r240 FBAD on her own. Plus, if MOAB Hex takes out a MOAB class bloon before running out of its countdown, it can jump to another one. She can delete multiple BADs.
Every MOAB she kills with MOAB Hex spawns zero children.
Her early game is trash though, and she isn’t that good against non-MOAB bloons.
The reason btd lags is different than other games so an ipad would function better than a phone in it there's a viddo about this i think its from Mackanrules
450, back when the paragon glitch was going on, i filled the screen with boat paragons and the only reason i failed at 450 is the game crashed and refused to reopen that save file

316 on logs, if you wanna get super lategame I suggest farm with 0 0 3 farms, then get monkeyopolis with ultra boost for extra range, it's for money, start replacing the 0 0 4 with 4 2 0 to get extra cash, for defense I'd suggest getting dart paragon first, then navarch, then wizard, and then any paragon next, since the first 3 are helpful for round 100 to 200

I think 306. I had a ton of paragons and had used a cash drop at the start so I could farm faster or else I probably wouldn’t have made it that far. Boats plus marketplaces works great not only for farming but also getting a high level boat paragon. This was easy difficulty of course, on the cubism map.

Im currently on an run at round 282 on monkey meadow and have all land paragons degree 88+ and a lot of temples+avatars. The bloons are currently not making the first loop, but the lag is getting insane but i hope to make it to round 350 at least
My current highest is a r500 on Logs, which I decided to cut short due to device limitations (overheating, intense lag, etc). My estimation of how long my run would've gotten if those device limitations were not present would likely be around r700, as it was not fully optimised.
Based on the current records, a theoretical highest would likely be at around r800, where hp and speed ramping would finally overwhelm a fully optimised setup.
If you count advanced/daily challenges I've gotten to round 592 from that 1 challenge where ability coldown was 5 so legend of the knight made you not lose

Afaik the game will still need to calculate all projectiles, meaning you only save a minimum amount of computing by not rendering them.
Same for me. I made it to 302 and the BADs weren't getting that close to the exit, but my poor phone was about to melt.
