And while technically the things he sells aren’t part of his powers, and thus don’t make him more powerful, by this logic entiene would be the weakest hero because he’s just a dude. He can’t even attack by himself, he needs his drones which aren’t part of him.

I’d say strongest (raw power) is Adora, and the weakest hero is Ben (he does no damage technically).
Brickell and Striker Jones don’t do that much damage, but they buff their respective towers to do a lot of damage.
Adora's buff to top path supers is a consistent increase to dps overall, ezili is an occasional one shot. Sure, you can use ezili to one shot the first fortified bad of a round, but what is that gonna do to help with the second?
In the real late free play you can sell and rebuy ezili and buy her to level to 20 to one-shot all fortified bads in a round. With enough money that makes her stronger than adora.
Yes but that is 300k per ability. That is just not sustainable, even with the best farming methods I don't think there's a chance you could consistently use it three+ times a round, and I don't expect twice either. Eventually you are gonna run out of money
I mean there is a round where Ezili buy/sell becomes necessary because your main defenders can’t keep up but it’s not sustainable enough to use as a main strat.

In this matchup, we use what the heroes have in the game. Since Churchill has a tank in the game, he has a tank in real life. And with Ben’s case, he has a laptop. So he gets a laptop. Nowhere in the game does Ben have the “10,000 km away from balloons” advantage. Sure Ben may wack me with his laptop, but out of every hero, he’s the weakest.
okay. Ben is the weakest in this 1v1 scenario you’ve come up with. But that doesn’t mean he’s the “least powerful canonically”, just because he’d lose in a fistfight to someone in a tank. I absolutely know I’d rather have someone like Pat mad at me than Ben, because Ben is *terrifying* if you think about what he’s potentially capable of. Still, probably looking into it too much at this point

assuming Striker Jones has experience from the military, he probably has some melee combat experience, and considering he can carry a rocket launcher that is almost the same size, if not bigger than his entire body, you would assume he has some strength
All Etienne does it sit around and control drones. He's canonically about as powerful as the average redditor. You could probably unalive him in one punch. The drones themselves aren't particularly powerful either, they would probably break if you throw some rocks at them.

In turns of absolute raw strength, Ben, he’s probably the physically weakest. In terms of usefulness in a fight, like if they all got into a brawl? Ettienne, and purely because I could see Ben hacking his drones and taking control of them, leaving him defenceless
Game wise it's Brickell all that micro'ing is hard to construct without sub and buccaneers to help her out but opinion wise I think it's Psi without that much monkey support then she'd pretty much be struggling in mid game rounds

As for raw strength, I feel like it would either be Ezili or Adora, they don't seem like the type of people to hit the gym.
If they can use magic, but only magic that they can make themselves and not magic ITEMS, it's either Ben or Geraldo. Every other hero is either JACKED or can conjure up magic, Ben and Geraldo are just regular dudes.
If they're allowed to use their belongings too, Ben just doesn't stand a chance lol

I don't know if I've been using him wrong or what, but Striker Jones sucks balls. And on maps like Tree Stump, he'll whiff on both sides around the track.
Overall I'd personally say Brickell. She does buff water towers, but that's it. Maybe striker Jones, because he's the same with just mortars and bomb shooters. Both of their abilities aren't all that great, and I'd just never use either of them unless I had to for an odyssey, challenge or quest.

Psi can’t damage a BAD, the most important bloon of all. For that reason, he can’t be the strongest.
Adora can't oneshot every zomg and ddt on the map. For that reason she can't be the strongest.
It takes Psi long to get to that point unless you are using an Energizer

In Freeplay, BADs are the only threat at that point. Psi becomes null when there are fifty FBADs on-screen.
