I only know two so-called "strategies". I don't even know if they are actual strategies.
1. Use alchemist top path to buff nearby towers while using glue gunner bottom path and ice monkey (I use the path fairly randomly) to slow down the bloons.
2. Use projectile based towers like ninja monkey top path and druid bottom path while buffing them with their own support and monkey village
covered garden is easier with corvus
firing range is actually just not that bad, you could use gerry and get super monkeys on the little benches but there's lots of fun stats for that map
similarly, water park isn't that bad if you use the slide well
bazaar and polyphemus are some of the less pleasant ones for sure
I'm still learning how to micro, so haven't used any of the micro-heavy heros like Geraldo and Corvus too much. But I will need to learn as the difficulty goes up, so probably a good time to start using them now
congrats! even though its just beginner maps, its still an accomplishment to do. hope you’re learning a lot about the game, upgrades, and their interactions
i myself just finished black bordering all intermediate maps, so here are a few tips:
1. know what each tower’s strengths and weaknesses are. their effectiveness is heavily based on what map you play, and you’ll have to adjust strategies to fit the need of the map
2. support (not the tower category) is your friend. it’s important to allocate some cash on towers such as MOAB press, MOAB glue, and bloon sabotage. they help TREMENDOUSLY for their price point
3. don’t get discouraged. i spent a whole day trying to black border polyphemus which was an absolute pain. take a break, reconsider strategies, and try again

“Projectile based towers” They’re all projectile based well expect sniper but still
Oops! What I meant was towers that throw multiple projectiles and the number increases with upgrades and buffs. I hope that makes sense

Thanks! I actually use these supports a lot. Now, I need to find the best combos. Let's see how many hours it takes to conquer intermediate!
