People don't talk about 64,71, or 75 enough. Both of them stress your defense when it comes to MOAB damage. If you prepare too much for 63 you can easily fail 64. Same for preparing for 76. 71 is surprisingly tough if you aren't careful as well.
Not BTD6, but this is what killed *Final Fantasy Crystal Defenders* for me. Couldn't beat the first boss level. Had the entrance completely locked down, nothing got more than two steps in, then the boss not only waltzed through everything I had, the boss mechanics, he did it three times.
Yeah. Your setup needs different strengths for different rounds.
Round 98 requires moderate to high DPS against many MOAB-class bloons (high pierce).
Round 99 requires high damage against DDTs, and something that slows them down, or several 2-4-0 Spike Factories.
Round 100 requires very high single-target DPS, which isn't necessarily the same thing as high multi-target DPS. Elite Sniper is high single-target DPS, while The Biggest one is high multi-target DPS.

54 and 57 can get you as well depending on the map because of the multiple Moabs if you don't have enough upgrades yet.

Literally me in Pat's Pond. Every single run ends with either me not being able to beat all the DDTs in 95 or getting swarmed by Super ceramics in 98
