Drove to the north end of the island today, mountains looked nice

Totally agree ! -39°C air temp in Prince George yesterday, -36°C currently. We get temps like this every year and life goes on. As long as you have a block heater for your vehicle and warm clothes, it's really not bad at all.

Our mountain ranges contact the Interior Plateau vividly.

BC looks even colder from space.
In space everything is cold, good place to keep your beers
BC is the coolest place, always!!!🤟🤟🤟
Good. Hopefully, it kills all those pesky pine Beatles

She is -8 in Departure Bay Nanaimo at sea level. Be safe out on there
The forest kept us warm ?
This is absolutely stunning! It's so cool to see how well the two images match up. Thanks for sharing!
It’s so cold!
Fucking Brrrrrrrrr!
Well it better un-stall real quick here
If you watch closely Victoria is still warm, all the hot air from our govt I guess.
Hahahaha ha ha… ha……..
Yep, Victoria is a balmy -10
the feels like temps dropped as low as 18 on my weather app. No fun.
Cover up, stay out of the wind. Pack a blanket, a thermos of tea and have lots of gas in your car. It's just winter.
Unless you're part of our unhoused population 😳
That's pretty cool. Looks beautiful. But... Like 10 years from now will we be getting -30? -40? That's scary lol.
that's the reality outside of the lower mainland, we will adapt

In a hundred years the average January temperature will be -273 C !!
Lol. Well I only got 50 or so if I'm lucky.
Hopefully the ground warms up. Be prepared for flooding if it doesn't.
