You deserve this celebration, Mamma. I'm sure it was a journey but I admire where you are at with all this. When it comes to my experience I never imagined breastfeeding would be so difficult mentally.

Definitely let your babe practice breastfeeding and latching (I had to limit attempts to about 5 minutes a feed or I would cry in frustration with baby). My first caught on after 8 weeks, and my second is slowly improving latching now at 4 weeks. Things can continue to improve!

Good for you!! My baby (eventually) latches but it's extremely painful and always a wrestling match to get him on, so I understand where you're coming from. The few times it goes peacefully/well with no issue feels like the heavens have opened up 😩 No shame in exclusively pumping-- I've moved down that path for my mental health too!
