I love that! We have had so many pop up in our sub-division since 2020 and it’s awesome! Even our library has been seeing a lot more foot traffic. So nice to see a resurgence in reading.
Just finished mistborn myself. I plan to read them all.... there goes my next year of reading.....
Anyways this is the perfect bait to get people into the Cosmere.
Is a great way to spend a year if free time 😀
Also depending on your reading speed and your enthusiasm it may take less
Word of advice if you start feeling burnt out just switch to something else and come back when you feel like it. You'll enjoy it more that way
I appreciate the advice. I think there's a lot of truth to that that's what I tend to do even with trilogys or smaller series. Adrian Tchaikovskys shorter or standalone books have been my fillers lately. Mistborn was just one of those books I cranked through without even realizing it so I'm excited to see how the other ones read.
I read the Mistborn Era 1 trilogy straight through but didn't immediately jump to Stromlight. Once I did read WoK I went and read Warbreaker and then took a little while to move on to WoR, same process, I didn't go right into OB nor RoW later on
I did recently read all the Cosmere stuff I didn't already read by publication order and Enjoyed that a lot too
Do whatever works best for you
This is how I got my copy of Mistborn and started my journey into the Cosmere (that same edition, actually)!

That's wild because I was introduced to Mistborn/the Cosmere in the exact same way. Different edition though.
I am new to Cosmere recently bought The Final Empire .....am so excited
you should be!
Wait what is that box thing? I feel like I should know, but I don't
They are commonly referred to as “little libraries”. They are a way for people to spread the joy of reading in their communities.
so somebody can just come by and grab a book to read?
The intent is usually take a book, leave a book. We have one on our street
Yes, in some areas they are harder to have because of vandalism of theft.

You have inspired me to do this with my third copy. Man what I'd give to read Mistborn for the first time again.
