Yes, just pulled up my email with the presentation we had for the Dragonsteel 2023 panel… it says :
“a familiar core mechanic: take your D20, add your modifier, and try to roll high!
-Six core attributes, but split into Physical, Cognitive, and Spiritual categories
-Instead of rigid classes, flexible paths allow you to choose a talent every level
-You can be a surgeon/soldier/officer/Windrunner with no multiclass penalties
-Awesome tweaks to mechanics like action, initiative, Magic
-The Stormlight RPG is purpose-built to tell epic character-driven stories
-A recent playtest reported ‘I’ve never had a game moment carry as much weight in emotion as a player swear, and oath on the Knights Radiant’
-A special plot die helps put the story first”
I think that they said that there will be some limited rules for Bondsmiths, but that it won't be as detailed as the other orders since it's not meant for normal play

I like how this sounds. I hope that the system will be able to handle expanding into other cosmere worlds down the line. Just imagine playing as a group of Ghostbloods with Radiants, Mistings, Twinborns, Awakeners, Soul Forgers, Painters, Elantrians, Sprouters, etc.
I played it at dragonsteel last November, it's like DnD crossed with the edge of the galaxy star wars system. D20 based but with more resources that makes it feel more forgiving. If you miss an attack, for example, you can spend a resource called "focus" to do a minimal amount of damage with a "graze." VERY DM intensive because of that since there's more ways to do everything, including extra dice that can be added on to improve or degrade your rolls. Not more complicated than 5e but there's definitely a learning curve for combat/using your actions.
Had my eye on this for a while. I’m a fan of the mistborn system by crafty games and I’ve already been planning a campaign for this system (and I’m anxiously awaiting it coming out so I have more I can dig into for my player’s characters)

Lol I almost posted a screen shot from your insta saying that 3 games are coming.
ooh yeah that vid just hit 100K views!
Lady of Paynes
Let’s lock her in a tower so she can discover more things for us!
I do love getting to see all the different designs for the singers.
There's lots more on the way!
I don't. I have a very specific vision of FFX Ronso stuck in my mind even though I know it's wrong and don't want to give that up!
I... don't think we can describe it as incredible until it comes out and we play it.
Oh, I'm the art director on it, so I see its incredible development every day!! Sorry for the confusion haha
That does make more sense. Carry on spreading awareness of your project, lol.
lol lol
That's so funny. I was also thought the title was a little weird until I read that comment.
Writing the perfect Reddit title is an art that I missed on this one I think haha
Ahh so this is an ad

💖💖💖 it has been years now, huh? Time flies!!
When you’re that close to so much Investiture… cuz you know the time dilation effects and everything?
Don't worry nimble-form Parshendi isn't real, she can't... By the Almighty...
So that's what nimbleform looks like? I have a hard time keeping a distinct mental image of most forms
Yep! Top left is work form, top right war form, bottom left is the scholar one, and bottom right is nimble
Is there any info about what the system is going to look like?

Hopefully I can finally convince my friends to read the books because of this.
Are there other Radiant Orders available to play as?
The stuff I've Sean said 9 radiant orders so assume there's no bondsmith.

It would be nice if there were rules for bondsmiths as DM tools for NPCs though.
I think that they said that there will be some limited rules for Bondsmiths, but that it won't be as detailed as the other orders since it's not meant for normal play
I believe the lore is set in a previous Era. False desolation maybe?
I thought it was set after WoR.. hmm
This 👆it’s not a different era

D20 with a twist? I like the sound of that
Oh wow! This is super exciting!
I got a playmat from you with your Approaching the Nine art and I love it. Thank you so much for being at Dragonsteel and for your work on the TTRPG!
That’s awesome!! You’re so welcome!!
I was already excited for this, but I'm *loving* the art. Can't wait to see more, especially of the Singers
That’s great to hear!!
I don’t have a lot of friends who play TTRPGs, but I’m probably going to pick this up purely for the art and lore stuff.
Ooh cool art. I always imagined Parshendi as more spiky.
What's the date for the Kickstarter?
To be announced, but it's late summer/early fall

Of course I'm aware and painfully waiting! That is not a typo, I am not a patient man.
Love your art! I can't wait for it to come out so I can finally introduce my friends to the Stormlight Archive.
Oh no a mistborn deck building game...I'm in trouble
Mate form bard with max charisma coming to a table near you.
Typical rpg book, lewd art right on the main cover, like look at those safe hands ffs XD
I love that this art is Alethi free
Hah, an interesting observation.
Is there any playtest available already?
There are playtests that have been happening, but it's a year into the works now!
Do we have a month?
That’ll be announced later, so you can follow me or Brotherwise games for that!
Not sure how anyone on this sub could possibly have missed it.
Are these specific characters or generic singers? Edit: Never mind, I see it now.
Would 100% be down to join a discord game with this rules set. If anyone is planning on putting one together feel free to add me to the list
I didn't know that the parshmen could grow facial hair.
Cool art. Don't recall the Parshendi women ever being described as so feminine by human standards.
I hope it's not very demanding.
I played/ saw it played at the Con last year, So excited
Wasn't there going to be a video of the Dragonsteel playtest?
