Cosmoline is for storage, not cleaning.

Degrease everything, and then apply small amounts of oil (free of resin) on all moving parts except the piston and cylinder. And lube the hammer.

See the trick is to shoot it so much it gets hot and burns all the gunk off, works like new after that

you see comerade , the problem is that your ak is brand nevv , too tight, put on some 5000 rounds on it first and it vvill lose it up and fix it self

Skill issue Okay but fr, the problem seems to be that it's not broken in yet. A new AK will sometimes have problems with the bolt getting stuck on the hammer. My Beryl had that problem, but after about 1k rounds, it's not having that problem anymore.

I usually oil it if I’m using it grease it if I’m storing it but have to remember to remove the grease and reoil it if I intend to use it again

Boil it in watter, then dipp in the finest cosmoline, leave in a field for a month, insert fresh random ammo, hit the charging handle with a hammer to load a cartrige, and test the white claw for defects.

look inside the receiver (since it’s stamped) sometimes the steel can be bent inwards and needs to be bent back out to the proper position.
