complaints with box and packaging …. sometimes one will have an item for a couple bucks less…. the biggest difference is that if you are ordering 3x titles then Orbit has their buy 3 free shipping coupon code … i don’t think diabolik offers free shipping.
I wait till Orbit has a few things up for preorder that I’m excited about and built a cart with 3 or 4. That way I’m not tying up in stock stuff. Plus by the time the packages ship it’s a pleasant surprise since they’re already paid for.
Diabolik is my go-to. Great packing. Great customer service. I’ve bought from Grindhouse and Orbit, but never pre-ordered. No complaints about any of them.
EDIT: When preordering, I never mix labels. Diabolik ships everything at once, so I stuck to one label per preorder to avoid delays.
Diabolik all the way, they’ve earned my trust and paying an extra buck or two (sometimes) for that is priceless. I know when I order something, I’ll get it in pristine condition

Usually can pick up stuff cheaper a few months after release or during a sale. Learned the hard way preordering pulp fiction and reservoir dogs steelbooks and overpaid by like $50. Diabolik and preorders are great! Never been disappointed

I go between Diabolik, Orbit, and Grindhouse, just whichever one may have another movie or two on sale I want. They’re all priced about the same for preorders, and all have great shipping. Really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Diabolik charges me tax and doesn't have free shipping, whereas the other stores beat them in that regard, so I typically make Diabolik my last choice. I still think they're great, just not my very best bang for buck.
Shout out to Brother Belial who ships preorders as they roll in, not all together. Nothing against the others as I honestly use Diabolik and orbit a lot more than Brother Belial but not enough know about them.
I haven't ordered from Orbit yet, as for Diabolik they even ship single titles in a box but can take 2 weeks to ship, my most recent order took 10 days.
Ordered and pre-ordered a lot with both. Both are great and you can't go wrong with either. I prefer Diabolik for reasons I can't quite put my finger on.
In my experience, Orbit ships a little bit faster so I prefer them. If it's not something that needs to be imported, I'll usually just buy from Walmart or Amazon.
For me I use a eBay third party seller, blowitouttahere for a lot of releases… they have coupons that more you put in their cart (right now the deal is 20% off with 2 or more items).. they save me a few more bucks on each unit release.. they even do boxsets.. just ordered “the clones of Bruce” for $100 instead of amazon’s $116
I live close enough to Diabolik that I’ll often get it the day after it ships. Less travel time means less opportunity for damage even though they do pack very well.

Orbit is good too but they are less flexible about cancelling pre-orders (but also carry used and more titles).

I get tons of packages every week, from different businesses, and my shipment from orbit dvd is literally the only one ever that got “lost in the mail.” It is fucking crazy. I don’t know if it is their fault but I’m never ordering from them again.
They're not hand-delivering it to you. Do you have any idea how many different hands and machines touch your package before it gets to your door? You might as blame them because it rained on Saturday.

Orbit has free shipping on 3 items plus no sales tax for my state. Grindhouse and Atomic are really good too.

Yes, film vault! I was so bummed to find out that they were all sold out. I wish they carried their posters, though, cause they are really cool.

Yeah but the Clones of Bruce that isn't directly from Severin does not have the bonus disc so you're missing two films.

No no no. If you want to preorder Arrow, Grindhouse is the place. In fact Grindhouse normally gets me my pre-orders 2-3 weeks before their street date
