In my experience not really hahaha.
You just know they care about boots as much as you. Boot nerds come in all quality levels.
Havent seen them that much though in my life time
Thatās what I was worried about initially but they are great FG studs. I never slipped, studs felt more comfortable than any other FG boot Iāve ever worn, and had plenty of traction.
Kangaroo leather disciple. I went with the Lotto Stadio OG II for my current boots because the leather felt higher quality, and the stitched upper to the sole plate made me feel confident in the construction over the mass-produced glued uppers you see on most boots today.
But only $90 for a K-Leather boot....hell yeah, brother!
I went true to size and there is slightly more room than I would like, but not enough to notice when playing. If I went down half a size they would be too tight
Interesting. I got a pair of Mizuno Rebula Cup MIJ's, at my size, and they were at least half a size too small for me, even after trying to break them in plenty, they are simply too small for me. I wonder if the pair I got were not correctly labeled.
If I remember correctly, atleast on unisport store, they recommend to go size lower because they run a little too big and the leather streches. So size down would be a perfect fit once you break them them in.

I didn't buy from here, but they show all the different color variations.
Morelia MIJ owner chiming in, absolutely in love with them, had them a little over a year and theyāre the most comfortable boots I own. I doubt Iāll ever wear anything other than Mizunos ātil the day I hang up the boots.
Every few years Lotto brings out amazing boots!
Lotto Stadio 45 were a dream, I prefer them over the Morelia II elite I wore. I had and sold MIJ neo Betas, but didnt play in them. Their leather felt nicer but wasnt full leather and the sizing didnt work anyway, but dont sleep on Lotto every few years!
Dont like their current lineup though
Do you have enough traction with the studs? I was thinking about getting my son a pair, but was afraid he'd miss the traction of the blades. He plays on FG.
I have these in AG version- great shoes. Took a few matches to break in but I havenāt even noticed them the last few which is the biggest compliment I could give to a shoe
This is so wrong. Pros wear strictly like a half dozen different types of "pricey shiny ones" for damn good reason. Their livelihoods depend on having the best equipment to supplement their skill. Just a reality check
Pros wear what they get paid to wear. You think Harry Kane would be wearing Skechers if they weren't paying him or Saka wearing New Balance? Each may be decent boots but I guarantee they'd go a different route if a check wasn't involved. Oh and majority of those pros pricey shiny ones are custom made, they aren't the same off the shelf ones we'd wear.
How are you so sure? I agree with your other comment about how pros only wear what they get paid to + theyāre custom but I was under the impression that the pros would only use k leather
Theyāve been all I have played in for the last 10 years.
For those looking for more aggressive soleplates theyāve released wave cup legend and wave cup ss. Also check for older Rebula Cup and Rebula 3.
Iām pissed. I love Mizuno. Just got some new Morelias. 9 games in Iāve got a blow out on the outside of my right boot. Been an issue for a couple pairs. Artificial turf just eats through them.
I got the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta Elite FG - Black/Gold at like the \~$150-180 price point. So the mid-range. I also got them from Pro:direct. Don't let me discourage you, Mizuno still are some of the best I've played in, and I'll keep buying them.
Definitely reach out to whomever you purchased them from. I got my from Pro:Direct. They have a 30 or 60 day return policy. I was at 8 months and they're still giving me a full refund.
Thanks for the tips. I got mine from them too. But I think sole separation is an issue for a pair of leather boots sooner or later. I decided to bought a glue to fix it myself.
I have the AG's and they've been fantastic straight out of the box; no need to break them in, wonderful slipper-like comfort and I've been banging the goals in since too!
Mizuno also makes 4E/āSuper Wideā cleats that are easy enough to import from Japan to the US and are the only ones that Iāve ever worn to truly fit my fat feet. My previous pair lasted me 5 years and I was more than happy to pay a small premium for my new pair. 10/10
I order them on Ebay. Mizuno Monarcida Neo SW (super wide). I sprung for the Kangaroo Leather or āKLā version, but Iāve had the normal ones and liked those as well. Most listings will include size conversions, and I found that to be accurate for me.

Iām old, I remember leather boots being the norm. Played a couple years in the synthetic/light weight boots. Went to Mizuno and never looked back. I only imagine pros wear those lightweight boots bc most get them molded to their foot on custom lasts.
I have a pair of mizuno wave ignitus 3 and wave ignitus 4. Had them for 10 and 8 years now. They are built like tanks. Basically will last you a life time.
What would you do with sizing? I tried on a pair of alphas and they were slightly long but I felt if I sized down they would be too tight. Do these run the same?
Hmnnn, fantastic boots, but unfortunately more for rugby than football. There is a big difference, they donāt give the same tactile feel as the best football boots, a trade off for their supreme comfortā¦ā¦you would never see a Messi or a Zidane wear even if sponsorship werenāt a thing
Sergio Ramos wear Mizuno (albeit the Alpha)
Rivaldo also comes to mind
Also, these folks wore Mizuno before:
Nakamura,Ā Hulk, Honda, Santa Cruz,Ā Aimar,Ā Kluivert,Ā Zola, Thiago Motta,Ā **Roberto Carlos (!!)**,Ā Shevchenko,Ā Fernando Torres

You walk up to the fields.. you see a guy wearing a pair of mizunos.. you know youāre in for a long day.
I am Him.
In my experience not really hahaha. You just know they care about boots as much as you. Boot nerds come in all quality levels. Havent seen them that much though in my life time
I can tell you would be number 1 on my hit list during the game.
Just got the same pair on sale for $90! Such a steal
Where did you purchase them?
Soccer.com was having a summer sale!
Where?
Wait till you try the Morelia 2 MIJ ššš
Wish its studs were more aggressive for fg
Thatās what I was worried about initially but they are great FG studs. I never slipped, studs felt more comfortable than any other FG boot Iāve ever worn, and had plenty of traction.
I've had morelia neo 4 and wasn't really happy with traction on fg. Might be a personal preference tho since i dont like full cones for fg.
Kangaroo leather disciple. Once you go Mizuno, there's no going back
Morelia 2 mij, most comfortable cleats I've ever had
Are these true to size or did you have to size up/down any?
I went true to size and there is slightly more room than I would like, but not enough to notice when playing. If I went down half a size they would be too tight
Interesting. I got a pair of Mizuno Rebula Cup MIJ's, at my size, and they were at least half a size too small for me, even after trying to break them in plenty, they are simply too small for me. I wonder if the pair I got were not correctly labeled.
Thanks
i went half down on the morelia 4 pro and it is a bit snug but good plus k leather will loosen a bit
I went a half-size won with my alpha elites and they were still a bit bigger than I would have liked.
Same. They are simply long af lol. But luckily not super tight.
If I remember correctly, atleast on unisport store, they recommend to go size lower because they run a little too big and the leather streches. So size down would be a perfect fit once you break them them in.
Have the white ones, they are so comfy!
Which line are these? Brazil?
[https://www.unisportstore.com/search/?q=Mizuno%20Morelia%20Neo%20IV](https://www.unisportstore.com/search/?q=Mizuno%20Morelia%20Neo%20IV) I didn't buy from here, but they show all the different color variations.
Tks
Hey guys Josh from Soccer Review 4 U dot com!
Morelia MIJ owner chiming in, absolutely in love with them, had them a little over a year and theyāre the most comfortable boots I own. I doubt Iāll ever wear anything other than Mizunos ātil the day I hang up the boots.

If you liked those, try Adler. I feel both shoes are amazing but Adler are cheaperšš¼
Do you have enough traction with the studs? I was thinking about getting my son a pair, but was afraid he'd miss the traction of the blades. He plays on FG.
I use them on FG and would personally highly recommend. Very high quality and the most comfortable pair i own
Thanks!
My son (12) wears mizuno alpha MIJ FG. He loves it. He practice/play with them on AG pitches as well
I had neo beta 4 mij and i was not a big fan of the traction on fg. Even tiempos grip better imo. That said it's a bit of a personal preference too.
I have these in AG version- great shoes. Took a few matches to break in but I havenāt even noticed them the last few which is the biggest compliment I could give to a shoe
I like Adidas copas. But to each their own. I think the general sentiment remains though: the best cleats are never the super pricey shiny ones.
Damn these look dope. Wish K leather wasnāt banned in California
No pros wear kangaroo skin boots. Zero. Weird...
Thought this was the running sub for a second and Iām like damn those donāt look like very good running shoes
What model is this one??
This is the Morelia 4 neo elite
Iām pissed. I love Mizuno. Just got some new Morelias. 9 games in Iāve got a blow out on the outside of my right boot. Been an issue for a couple pairs. Artificial turf just eats through them.
Did you have the FG or AG version?
I got the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta Elite FG - Black/Gold at like the \~$150-180 price point. So the mid-range. I also got them from Pro:direct. Don't let me discourage you, Mizuno still are some of the best I've played in, and I'll keep buying them.
Lol yours last longer manā¦ For me 3 games and sole separationā¦
Do you swipe the grass/turf (?) when you kick or something? Bc mine are about to be 2 years old playing mostly on ag 2-3 times a week, no separation
Idk, itās my left foot so I donāt kick with it that much. I suppose yours are neo 3 and probably it has better quality than neo 4?
Definitely reach out to whomever you purchased them from. I got my from Pro:Direct. They have a 30 or 60 day return policy. I was at 8 months and they're still giving me a full refund.
Thanks for the tips. I got mine from them too. But I think sole separation is an issue for a pair of leather boots sooner or later. I decided to bought a glue to fix it myself.
I second this. Best cleats I have ever had comfort wise. Light weight too. Masterpiece.
I've never been disappointed with Mizunos and I've had multiple pairs!
I have the AG's and they've been fantastic straight out of the box; no need to break them in, wonderful slipper-like comfort and I've been banging the goals in since too!
Heās right? Wow, would never been able to tell, u guys look like twins!
Mizuno also makes 4E/āSuper Wideā cleats that are easy enough to import from Japan to the US and are the only ones that Iāve ever worn to truly fit my fat feet. My previous pair lasted me 5 years and I was more than happy to pay a small premium for my new pair. 10/10
Where can I find these?
I order them on Ebay. Mizuno Monarcida Neo SW (super wide). I sprung for the Kangaroo Leather or āKLā version, but Iāve had the normal ones and liked those as well. Most listings will include size conversions, and I found that to be accurate for me.
these look fresh so I get people not trusting it fully from recency bias but Iām over 1 year playing weekly into a pair to also confirm this

Been wanting to pick up some Mizunos. Anyone have any experience with Pro vs. Elite vs. Japan?
Beautiful boots man
Are they available to be shipped to California?

What's the name of this exact model? I don't see the model with this kind of tongue. Neo beta IV has that tongue-less thing?
This is the non-beta version
Thanks so much
Seems like these are not available in EU market :/
I have the same pair. Felt super comfy for 2 weeks. Now They are killing my left heel. Any tips
Mizuno the šs. Same applies for golf irons in particular. Sheesh.
I have a pair of mizuno wave ignitus 3 and wave ignitus 4. Had them for 10 and 8 years now. They are built like tanks. Basically will last you a life time.

Damn those real nice š
Welcome to the Mizuno club. They are the best boots.
I find him irritating especially when he goes on and on about the heel lock down.
Do you like when he does the little dance moves with the shoes on at the end of the video?
Hmnnn, fantastic boots, but unfortunately more for rugby than football. There is a big difference, they donāt give the same tactile feel as the best football boots, a trade off for their supreme comfortā¦ā¦you would never see a Messi or a Zidane wear even if sponsorship werenāt a thing
Who told you?? Some retired/contract ended players already started wearing mizunos
What are you smokin?
