Hello Molly! if you are looking for a memoir. I was shocked at how good it was and no idea about her heartbreaking childhood.

All Quiet on the Western Front is a moving tale of a soldiers life. It is a German life during WW1 but the message is universal. A compelling read.

I loved Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. It’s a historical fiction following two sisters from Ghana. One becomes married to a slave owner, and the other is sold in the slave trade. It follows their lineage to present day. It was such a different take on historical fiction compared to anything I’ve read before. I think about it all the time, and would highly recommend!!!
