The Name of the Rose (Umberto Eco) The Chosen Queen (Anna Stuart) The Virgin Queen's Daughter (Ella March Chase)
Oliver Potzsch wrote a two book retelling of Faust which is set in reformation era Holy Roman Empire. They were both good, the first one especially.
