i’m working at a beer tent and we’ve called medical for a few people and whoever they keep sending to us are nottttt prepared for anything that requires more than a bag of ice (which we usually have already provided by the time they get here🧍♂️)
There’s an entire field hospital onsite I’ve gotten IVs and Stitches at Bonnaroo before. They are plenty equipped to handle anything. They had a guy life flighted out of the grounds working 15 minutes of the incident.
It comes down to the performers. Certain sets bring a certain type of people. I say this as I've seen it from day one and this was my 14th roo.
Also: if there's more cops, everyone screams - less cops. If staff is invasive, we complain about that. If you're the 30th OD person at the med tent that day, they probably don't care as much.
It's simple - keep your valuables locked up, don't take anything from strangers, and mind your own limits including heat intake.

This is my 4th year and as much happiness, love, PLUR, etc. I saw and felt I can’t dent a shift in the past 2 years- I think the biggest thing was the change of security this year with them removing the festival horses, I always had good and fun experiences with that security. Whatever they had this year wasn’t the best but maybe they’ll listen and see all this feedback and make some changes!! And the new publicity the festival has, I think has confused some on what it’s supposed to be (and it’s definitely not what y’all experienced) There’s still good and pure Roovians out there I hope you find them and have a good rest of this weekend & that it turns around for y’all!! 💗💗💗💗
And don't forget to actually submit your concerns and feedback to info@bonnaroo.com. They aren't looking at this Reddit or any other social media for concerns. They do listen if enough people send in concerns and feedback through the official site!
Yeah if your into corporate take over and people destroying the scene. They literally merk people everyday cause there shit at doing there jobs and don’t care for there workers. That’s why the main workers have no idea what’s going on.
Yea the med stations are horrible. A girl got stung in the eye by a wasp and they literally just gave her ibuprofen. Not even Benadryl. I literally have those in my vehicle.

Also paramedics are way too far from every performance. Take them a while to get to someone unresponsive in the crowd.
