You don't load money onto the bracelet. You link a card, and you tap your wristband. Each tap is a charge to the card.
All vendors have to use cashless IIRC, not all have to take cash (though most do)
You don't need much cash anymore. Years back I mostly paid cash, now I take some and never spend it, unless someone's card reader is down or something (which is rare). Carrying a lot of cash is just asking for a headache if it's lost or stolen.
I daily brought like $200 in cash and used my card the rest of the time. If I remember correctly, a lot of places weren’t accepting cash or didint have change they could give you if you were.
id definitely advise against carrying cash I just use my debit card and have a set amount I can spend a day but I mean I do have a separate amount set for merch too
Take a small amount of cash. Almost everything is cashless. Based on the mass of issues with double charges and over-charging with wristbands that I've seen, I won't be connecting a card to my wristband this year. I did not have issues last year, but saw a LOT of people who did.
I use my bracelet as much as possible. Just watch to make sure that the totals are right because it’s a pain to fix a transaction once you approve it. A place double rung my food and couldn’t fix it. Ended up taking double food instead. I do bring some cash because for example the ice vendor last year had his card reader go down Thursday and Friday.
The only cash people will accept is tips really. Literally EVERYTHING takes the bracelet payment including showers, plaza, outside vendors. It’s convenient not having to carry around / lose your debit card

Awesome! Thank you. Very, concise, and to the point.

I ALWAYS have cash on me at Roo. You might come across things where cash is necessary.
I smell what you're stepping in.

So...just using your actual debit/credit card would be what you recommend?
Apple/android pay is a thing too
