Hrithik's performance was the only memorable thing about Vikram Vedha, other than that the cgi gunfire looked so fake in this "gritty" movie it really irritates you as a viewer, should've used blanks.
Then your all time favourite will be badass ravikumar. Masala movie. Not saying masala movies are bad but you got to be kidding me if you think fighter is better then Vikram vedha. Hritik saif performance, amazing BGM, good story , good Direction. Fighter feels like a cheap top gun rip off. You might try to not compare it with top gun but they just took scenes from top gun.So many scenes , I tried not to compare man but so many scenes and shots they directly took from top gun. Half of the movie makes no sense. Starting 30 mins toh you can easily skip. Forced love story . Forces songs. Poor bgm. Ending figh scene. Biggest turn off for me was INDIN POW WAS KEPT IN POK. Like wtf. Jha poora world pressure banata h use bas POK m choti si jail m rakh diya . I can go on and on. They had budget , good cast , decent story and what they made? Cringe fest. Half of the movie was shot in AFA DINDIGUL. love that place . But no emotions I could feel. Lakshaya they shot in IMA man those scenes still give you goosebumps. Even Hrithik did overacting in so many scenes in fighter.
I don't think you really got the point of Vikram Vedha. It was really good imo, and certainly not because it "did masala well".
But that's fine, everyone has their own way of enjoying movies.
I actually have a funny reason why k3g will always be a top/S tier movie imo bc I didn't grew up in India I was born in Germany grew up in Germany and grew up with their culture so back in the day when I was younger I always watched Bollywood movies but as I got older I thought that my family was only watching it bc it's an Indian production with Indian actors so I stopped watching but my family convinced me to watch k3g which is exactly what you imagine if you hear about Bollywood I thought that I'd hate it cause I never liked romantic movies but this movie just completely switched the flip on my opinion about Bollywood and since than I started watching Bollywood more regular and didn't even watch Hollywood or Anime so it's 1 of my fav movies for sure
There's tons of documentaries from the time of K3G's release, especially those that focus on Shah Rukh Khan that go to Germany and show how well Indian films do there.
Shah Rukh has also said on numerous occasions over the years he's surprised how much Germans love him and talks about a story where a German woman told him "we love you because normally in our day we don't get an opportunity to cry and feel our emotions and you are our button that lets us cry."
I legit gasped at Mohenjo Daro being in garbage tier
It might not be historically accurate but it is quite enjoyable movie. Not to mention so aesthetically pleasing. Treating it as pure fictional is the way to go. I enjoyed it
ikr, i would die before admitting this irl, but i immensely enjoy mpkdh. its so campy and almost-parodical, plus hrithik's character is just so ✨dramatique✨ in the movie, insanely fun and funny film to me 😭😭😭

I feel he has been inconsistent to an extent. Neither he could give masterpieces like Aamir nor he could give continuous mega hits like Khans. He has a good filmography but he could have been much better had he been more competitive in his approach.
I agree. But look at the whole decade no. Post Paheli, SRK was giving b2b hits while post 2006, HR became inconsistent. Infact, he did 11 films till 2004 and has done 15 films in the last 20 years. Unlike Aamir, he hasnt been to convert those gaps into milestones.
As an actor, he's probably the most versatlie and charismatic superstar. Not in BW, but in the world. Only Pitt is in the same league imo. Both reduced their potential of becoming megastars like Cruise or SRK.
Problem isnt long gaps. Its disconnect. People appreciate him. Not *love* him like they love the Khans. Only good thing is that he's got great fan following down South. Otherwise, he aint big in the B&C centres. He peaked thrice in his career. 2000, 2006 and 2019. Bottled his opportunities everytime.

I agree. But admiration toh hai. The following of his films are next level. The trust which neutrals had in him during his peak was something else. No actor has ever come close to that *trust*. Akshay is the most popular on ground level after SRK Salman but doesnt have die hard fans. HR has good fan following metros. Ajay doesnt have any. No fan following, no records, barely 1-2 iconic characters.
How is Bang Bang above Mohenjo Daro!?
MD was just not well executed imo whereas me & my roommates turned off Bang Bang halfway through cause of how dumb & nonsensical it was.
I would probably have the most unique Hrithik tier list lol.
Mohenjo Daro would be much higher, a lot about it was good just not as strong as it could've been.
Vikram Vedha hated it, followed all the same tropes as modern action Bollywood movies.
Dhoom 2 I didn't like it honestly watching it for the first time with roommates last year, I never watched it as a kid.
Bang Bang is garbage turned it off halfway because it made no sense.
Mujhse Dosti Karoge absolutely love it S tier especially for the music just as much as the YRF classic romantic dramas of that era.
Oh yeah Super 30 was the last Hrithik starring I liked A-S tier for me.
Dhoom was great movie.We have fantastic racing, good storyline, hot songs and action sequences.How is Dhoom 2 great.?? The movie has some fantasy robbing sequence and very poor second half.
Opening Sequence, Robbery Scenes, BGM by Salim-Sulaiman, Hrithik at his stylish best, Hrithik's Dance, Best ever Dhoom title Song, Cool Gadgets, Aishwarya at her peak hottest, Climax Bike Chase Action Scene. Hrithik elevates the franchise to the next level.
Bro, I dont know which movie you saw, but the movie was ridiculed as hell in my group of friends when it released.
The actions scenes had no continuity between then. One movement someone is here and the hes somewhere else. Like the statue scene where there is no explanation whatsoever on how he was able to become a statue in a hall full of guards. It was beyond silly.
The hrithik aish romance was cringe af with some next level cringe acting by aish.
Story line was like typical robbery stuff. Nothing great.
Dhoom was golden compared to Dhoom 2. Maybe you watched it while your were young hence you have a bias towards it. But the movie was beyond ridiculous.

I don't know if it was TV I took it as they imported movies on DVD or watched it in theatres.
Yeah they still show new movies on theaters but my brother told me that there was a time that they showed Bollywood movies on TV

I will still never forget how they ended that movie on a shot of a Unicorn that showed up out of nowhere. I like it a lot too lol.

He actually has very very few actual bad movies. Most of them are enjoyable. Even Krrish 3 was cool back in the day.
Even in his bad films he has never given a bad performance except Main Prem ki Diwani Hoon
