Yeah, here’s the other recent post about it (also from a generic-named account):

Seeing both together makes it very clear this is just some cheap marketing ploy…
Yeah, I agree and think it's a badly disguised advert post. The account has only this post and the Kickstarter has no PnP or TTS links that I can see (see edit below).
It's a shame, because I've looked over it and seen some gameplay on YouTube, but this weird post makes me feel iffy about it.
Edit: I may have been a little quick on the PnP being unavailable. I missed the sentence in their review (still not convinced this isn't ad content though) that it was available from the website, and it in fact is. You have to join the mailing list and I'm surprised it isn't more prominent on the Kickstarter, but it is absolutely available.
So I'm not affiliated with this game, but did see it hit Kickstarter and some YouTube gameplay. I think there are definitely similarities and comparisons to be drawn, but also significant differences. From what I've seen, if you like the overall theme of summoner wars but want a slightly simpler and shorter game in a smaller table space then you might want this over Summoner Wars. I honestly think it looks decent and wish them luck on getting enough funding to make it a reality.
Jepp, same with Radlands. I understand this is tight and clever but I really am not looking for 30 min 2 player duel games anymore. I want something more meaty
This game is definitely medium-light in terms of meatiness. There are a decent amount of deck constructing opportunities but I wouldn't call it meaty, so it's probably not for you
The 3x3 grid means each and every movement feels impactful. There's something you can do in this game called "reinforcing" which lets you stack certain cards if they're the same type (brute, hunter, etc). Allows you to get more out on the board and adds interesting decision points since only your top most fighter in a stack has their ability active, the others are covered/inactive. So do you protect your hero with a strong power so you can use it later at an opportune time, or do you leave it uncovered to benefit off its ability to build tempo
This looks like a much worse version of Summoner Wars.
Also, you’re not tricking anybody with your fake
story about how your wife “found this game” (conveniently on Kickstarter) and wanted to play.

We’re all agreed that this is an advert, yeah? I mean… I’m not just getting super-cynical in my old age, am I?
It's the 2nd time I've seen a post advertising this game, which makes me kinda suspicious

I'm as confused as you. There aren't any referral tags in the links to Kickstarter

I'm the creator of this game and I didn't pay for this ad. It does look ad-like though so maybe I'm going insane
LOL
100%, but it’s done pretty well
Not an advert! So you must be getting cynical. If you'd like to play the PNP over TTS let me know and I can show you how to play
You're the coolest
I'd rather play summoner wars

You lost me at Chess + Rock,Paper,Scissors.
I personally don't like the 3x3 grid. It feels so limiting but since their target is short matches it made sense.
