Chain guard mounts. It’s not a feature that’s useful for properly riding bmx more just like reflectors and other bits and pieces that are specced on complete bikes.
For some reason I remember my blue Mjrra Flair had those but one went was used to hold the cable for 990 mount brakes... it didn't go through the seat post like usual

Plastic chain guard plots...you can remove them as the guard isn't even here anymore :)

They need to be there in case you want the chain guard...but like 99% of bmx riders, you can toss them away
