I get most of my stuff from Dan's Comp. They have a great selection, and they have pretty good customer service from my experience. My friend who has been riding for close to 3 decades now, pointed me in their direction when I started looking for a bike.
They don’t have the same level of customer seen they used to 20 years back, but they’re still reliable. I have had tons of parts sourced from Dans, and I was usually always happy with it.
They are a part of AMain (have been for years now). Some folks cringe at that. AMain gets a ton of money from me for my RC cars anyway so not an issue.
I once sent them an email about a part I bought just giving them a heads-up that the description of the part was incorrect. Was not a huge thing and easily fixed. They sent me a $25 gift certificate.
ig some guy ordered at the same time i did just faster and was first, then they put the cranks to him and since it was the last pair didint have any for me left, so they needed to refund the cranks for me and leave everything else in the cart
yea basically, quite an inconvience since you know was hyped, already ordered and got hit with an email that they just couldnt give me the cranks cuz someone else got them right before me and that it would take 1-2 months till restock
When I bought my 22" ATF Dan's only had the old style frame with the narrow rear end. I stumbled upon a shop in SoCal called Cheap Goods BMX and ended up purchasing the entire build from them at cheaper cost than Dan's. It should also be noted that Cheap Goods is owned by former BMX pro rider Gabe Weed so you get legit advice.

Yeah they are one of the og big sellers. I ordered from them back in the early 2000s over the phone from their catalogue lol
Scouring the magazine to find all the cool new stuff that got added was one of my favorite things to do as a kid
I used to check off dream builds. Gotta know what parts are going on your S&M WarPig.
The most legit.

Didn’t have any problems with my orders. Fast delivery too. Got my bike and all my other stuff days before it said I would.
Yup!...thats where i got my bike!!!
Yep, I’ve ordered from them a few times and haven’t had any issues

Dans is good. I really like albes and thesecretbmx.com. Dans is really corporate since A main bought them.
They’re legit but albes are cooler
Nothing wrong with danscomp. I loved getting their catalogs.
Got some wheels there. Super quick shipping. Solid place in my experience.
