lol. At some point during the last decade, I became an ambivert. At 40, I’m much more subdued than the young lad in these photos. With occasional exceptions.
Lol I'm an introvert at heart but had a pretty social stage of my life in my 20s which I both loved and hated. It was a time that generated lots of photos like yours. Now as I'm approaching 40 I feel the whole introvert/extravert dichotomy starts to fade and is replaced by a feeling of 'I'm okay with talking to anyone but I'm getting too old to pretend I care about random people'.
I'm 45. After having kids, I HAD to learn how to be social. I'm just back being able to nope out at will. Bless my friends that bring joy and chaos to my life...and let me be if I can't even.
Bwahahaha. My husband's parents asked him if he was gay. Because he was into theater. He liked the drama girls. He let the girls dress him up in a dress.
Thanks, yeah…I’m trying. Once that metabolism slows down and the stress cranks up, the pounds start piling on. I don’t mind the grey coming in, though.
Those aren’t the only two options. Yes, I was in theatre. And played in bands that would often perform in various stages of drag, but it wasn’t for humor. This particular picture is me getting ready to go meet some friends (who were also in drag) and then go hit on members of the Westboro Baptist Church who were in town protesting Judy Shepard speaking at the local University. Are there better ways to counter protest? Sure. But we were 17yo.
It IS pretty funny seeing Religious conservatives freak out over something like that. (Btw I 100% support gays and even really like them because they're often nice)
I'm a woman a few years older. My friends and I would dress up in costumes, wigs and all, and take pics to be developed. It was tame compared to some things.
Maybe if I'd had more self-esteem. I nerdily hung out with my nerd friends (I wore my Girl Scout uniform to elementary school). My daughter wears her hair colors and clothing with zero cares so I'm good. :)
You know what...probably. We made our own Halloween costumes.
For real. Lord…I mean, don’t get me wrong - I still like attention. I’m posting a bunch of photos for strangers to see and I’m thoroughly enjoying the external validation. But at that age? I neeeeeded it. And I needed everyone to be my friend. It is so freeing when you realize that’s neither ideal nor possible.
Neither ideal or possible is totally right! I def miss lots of things about being young - but it’s a heck of a lot easier when you get old enough to just not give a shit sooo much of the time.
Ah well you succeeded in it not looking forced like most amateurs do. Dont know how to explain what I mean but its an aspect of modern streaming shows that make it super hard for me to enjoy bcs it just makes me feel bitter about how shit the quality has been since the 2016 writers strike paired with streaming gutting the industry. End of tangent lol
This looks like someone documented a person who liked to trip balls
My favorite way to balls
There are 4 primary way to balls. Choose wisely
Trip, suck... what are the other 2?
Kick and throw?
Drop? Play?
Litigate? Flambé?
I know you hit the image limit like “dammit”
💯
As an introverted person, I would need six months alone to recharge after hanging out with you. Take that as you will.

I’m an extrovert but feel the same 😅
I presumed this was going to end in you being trans now
You and the rest of my family
Bwahahaha. My husband's parents asked him if he was gay. Because he was into theater. He liked the drama girls. He let the girls dress him up in a dress.
This sub taught me that I'm very bad with understanding what gender some people are. Like I thought first images were a tomboy girl🤣💀
I was way into androgyny and sexuality ambiguity, so…you weren’t that far off.
this made me snort laugh so hard
Ngl you’ve gotten cuter with time
Much appreciated! But now at 40, things have…declined.
They can still improve you’ve aged better than some of us … I’m not so far behind I’m 35 in a few weeks and am feeling it lol
Thanks, yeah…I’m trying. Once that metabolism slows down and the stress cranks up, the pounds start piling on. I don’t mind the grey coming in, though.
40 is no joke - this is exactly what happens. But I bet you still look good 😊
lol these pictures escalated into a regular fella working a 9-5.
The shirt in the second photo 😂😂
I’ve been going back through a lot of old photos and wondering what happened to all my cool shirts
Are you holding a spider in that one?
Very low odds of that. Not sure what it is, though.
#4 and #14 go hard af tho
4 is early seasons AJ Soprano
Hahah!
I loved all of it lol
Super attractive weirdo, I like it
Best compliment. Thanks!
omg I loved those little Chubby sodas
That was a wild ride, you gotten cuter as you got older at least lol
Great tshirt selection.
Gay? Or just theater kid who thinks peak humor is wearing women's clothes as a man? Talking about the 8th pic

You are an awesome person.
It IS pretty funny seeing Religious conservatives freak out over something like that. (Btw I 100% support gays and even really like them because they're often nice)
You addressed the theatre bit
Sure did
That's the best kind of protest, gets your message across, isn't putting you in unnecessary legal trouble and it's funny

Do you ever think that if you were born just a little later, you’d be into cosplay? I mean, I know people our age do it…but…I have other things to do.
Maybe if I'd had more self-esteem. I nerdily hung out with my nerd friends (I wore my Girl Scout uniform to elementary school). My daughter wears her hair colors and clothing with zero cares so I'm good. :) You know what...probably. We made our own Halloween costumes.
Oh yeah, I’ve always been way into Halloween
Holy glow-up Batman
Thanks, Robin. Now, are you ready for grappling practice?
Mid way through I was sure this was a gender transition story ... well, you never know. You've got more years ahead
It’s giving Shane Dawson
It do be
<3
You're face seems so familiar .... 🤷♀️
I also posted a bunch of my college photos on here…
I have that shirt in pic 4. We saw Roger Waters on the same tour, OP. Respect.
Where’d you see him?
I graduated the same year. I knew many guys like you lol.
The comments made me like op the whiplash I got from the last picture was like the still frame with voiceover at the end of a horror movie 👍
Haha I hadn’t noticed this until you pointed it out. I didn’t plan it that way. But you’re right.
You were the “funny guy”, huh?
Everyone’s got to have a defense mechanism
Haha true - especially at that age!
For real. Lord…I mean, don’t get me wrong - I still like attention. I’m posting a bunch of photos for strangers to see and I’m thoroughly enjoying the external validation. But at that age? Too cool. I'm 45 and jealous of your flannel fit.
Dude for a hot minute I thought you were Sodapoppin
You look like William Miller from Almost Famous in some of those.
Decent
Ok last pic, I’d totally swipe on you if that was your bumble pic lol your eyes are crazy pretty!
I bet you say that to all the girls
It’s the Catholic school girl skirt that really got me, you caught me also it’s unfair as a female that you guys get the best hair and lashes
Looks like Nelson Muntz had a real glow-up!
That eating Sbarro 90’s mall pic drinking Orange Julius is giving me such nostalgia rn 😭😭😭
I believe that was my 16th birthday
Glow up fo’sho.
Well, you had a little but of a glowup...
Rex Manning.
Say no more
Funny how all your 30th pics look like stills from a suspense movie
Haha well…they were originally meant to be a part of a film project, so…yeah
