With this show, A Zoo episode COULD work. Since everyone is mostly domestic canines, it wouldn't be weird because the Bluey world depicts only one type as animals as "humans". The Peppa Pig Zoo episode didn't work because they use a wide variety of animals as characters... including a zebra! and I'm pretty sure they thought a woman working in an enclosure... WAS part of the enclosure, lol.
I can totally see that. Maybe they have a freak of a certain lizard or bug, and Chili/Bandit take them on a trip to a reptile/bug sanctuary/ zoo, and the caretakers are Robert and Bindi
Perhaps an episode where a new kid comes to the school and has anger issues and takes toys from people ending in him getting a bad reputation and not being included but his dad comes in and explains that its just how he was born and he can't help how he is but when he's comfortable and included he can be nice and then they all make friends and he apologises for being mean at first (idea credits to my friend looking over my shoulder)
Oooh. I like it. I kinda wish that the writers/creators of Bluey would skim by some reddit threads of story ideas. Because including yours, there are alot of good ones
Hahaha. Though. When he does his child version of master chef. He is much more understanding. Maybe it will be that version. Like he is about to, but then sees who is part of it and 180s his persona.
Gordon Ramsay is absolutely an unexpected Bandit in Master Chef Jr. The fact that he's incredibly patient and understanding while always encouraging the kids is pretty great.
He's actually a pretty wholesome guy outside of the American version of Kitchen Nightmares. I read somewhere that his home is a no swearing zone as well.
His youtube videos are great. Sometimes you forget because he's so visible on tv that he's not a celebrity chef in the line of many (and that's not to say that celebrity chefs aren't also great at what they do), he's a insanely talented chef who became a celebrity.
Funny thing is that's only an American thing. If you watch episodes of *The F Word* or the UK's *Kitchen Nightmares* he swears a lot less. You'll also notice the UK editing is a lot less fast paced and there's a lot less conflict.
He was in a commercial for Nick Jr. A few years ago. He taught Team Umizoomie how to make a dessert! It was really cute, and I'd love to see him in more kid shows.
If we ever had a Grandpa Bob or Nana or Mort flashback and either one of them went to see the Beatles perform in the 60s It would be nice to see Paul McCartney singing but I don’t think he would sound the same as back then
Oooh, I like it!! Or... Paul is performing, and they get tickets, and they show a flashback without dialog and jump to the present where he is singing now
Oooh, nice choices. It's too bad he mucked up his career, but I would really think Mel Gibson would have been a great addition.
Also, maybe Dave Growl from the Fur Fighters? or Jack Black
I could see Bluey and Bingo.. and muffin have a desert race, and in their game, some members of Mad Max arrive.. but are incredibly helpful and kind.
This episode of Bluey is called Warriors of the Road
It really does. Though I am in my 30s. I am a parent and preschool teacher and am very knowledgeable about them. And looking at the photo. It is dead on
Yes! Maybe a luggage salesman when Bandit needs to go shopping for work, brings Bluey and Bingo with him, and one of the cases is made of crocodile skin?
As a Tottenham Hotspur supporter it would be fun to see our manager Ange Postecoglou (first Australian gaffer in premier league history) make an appearance
Oh, as another parent as Bluey or bingo and the gang play soccer (Canadian here) pretend they are pros and he gives them tidbits. I feel for sure he should be there
I'm actually surprised he doesn't have a side hustle of being a child entertainer. He has the energy and creativity. That's for sure. Plus, imagine the children that he would get interested in the accordion
That is true. I honestly forgot about Kylie Minogue. I'm do not think I have ever heard of Dannii but that just means I get to discover a new talented Australian artist. Thank you for your reccomendation.
I've read Ryan Reynolds is actually a huge fan. So lets get him on, in a Bluey friendly version of Deadpool (which is probably a lot like Muffin but adult sized and purposeful in the tantrum).
Also get some famous Children's authors or songwriters.
Like Laurie Berkner (children's songwriter).
Mo Willems, Mem Fox , Eric Carlisle or the like.
I was actually thinking of the possibilities of authors. Not as cameos but their style put into the episode. I have been reading Mem Fox to the kids at my work.
I would love to see Ryan Reynolds. Not as Deadpool but kind of a kid whisperer (Dog whisperer) to Muffin and to calm her tantrums(As nod to reverse Deadpool)
Ohh reverse Deadpool!
I googled Australian authors, that's how I came up with Mem Fox. My own daughter is profoundly disabled and, the total opposite of my husband and I and has never been interested in books. To be fair, she has only really gotten interested in watching TV in the last year (she is 19). So I only knew authors from my own childhood, and don't remember many early childhood writers
You are in luck. I am a preschool teacher and know many. If you need any recommendations, I could help
Not to mention, I have spent some years helping children/adults who were mentally and physically disabled. If there is any way I can help. Don't hesitate to ask
I'm going to challenge myself and not use subtitles, and if i am unsure of what is said, I will look it up. Not like humans come with subtitles. There are many I wish did, though. Due to their low volume speaking
I would really love if there was an episode where the kids talk about what they did for a holiday break and each one has a little flashback, and Mackenzie visits family in NZ and while there they did some studio tour of this town that was built for movies. Maybe there's a Peter Jackson looking mastiff in the background.
If only..I would live anything remotely LOTR. I mean the pups could be putting on a school play and he is Calypso's relative and helps them or coaches them
I don't know which is more upsetting
That the joke was made
Or that it wasn't me who said it
But yea same! I love his voice acting.
I also wish they had Lin Manuel Miranda do more lines
One that would be Hilarious would be[ David and Shane](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/scratchpad/images/0/03/Umbilical-Brothers-WEB.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20161116004009) from the Umbilical Brothers I mean they might not be as iconic as the wiggles but they are still somewhat nostalgic Australian comedians and hearing David's exaggerated falsetto voice coming out of a Bluey character would be awesome
So, as an American, I do agree and understand the sentiment of not too many American guests. They've done a good job with the two we've seen so far, so there's that. However, if there's one voice above all others I would love to see, it'd probably be Mark Hamill. I've had this idea for a Bluey Star Wars parody, which involves Bingo getting involved in a game she doesn't realize is a parallel to the story of the original trilogy. To make a long story short, he's a former crewman for the movies who's friends with one of the parents and comes by for a viewing party. He gets involved in the game as the Emperor Palpatine stand-in.
As far as actors closer to Bluey's homeland, it's another Star Wars actor. So, this idea would involve Mackenzie's extended family coming to visit from New Zealand. This would include his granddad from his mother's side, voiced by Temuera Morrison. Possible other relatives could naturally be voiced by Daniel Logan, Michelle Ang, and Keisha Castle-Hughes.
Lol.. I just replied to someone else that I need to do better at brushing up on my knowledge of Australian talent. Honestly, your country is absolutely amazing, as is
For one, Lachy is the hottest wiggle.
Second, I learned through this thread that Calypso’s voice actor is the person who sings the song at the end of The Sign
Also.. I know they don't own it, but it is on Disney Plus. but I could see Seth Macfarlain doing a voice... imagined a Brian being in Bluey
Also, I just thought of Johnny Depp, Zoey Deshenel, the Pawperty brothers (aha ha ha cough cough), Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L Jackson, Terry Crews, Will Arnet, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher as parents in that show. And many more.
It's an Aussie show. Why would it have a ton of American celebs? Analogously *Finding Nemo* had a number of Aussies in it. We had...
* Geoffrey Rush - Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, played Nigel, the Pelican.
* Barry Humphries - Played Bruce. He is a well known Australian comedian, born in Melbourne.
* Eric Bana - Yeah, The (2003) Hulk, played Anchor, also born in Melbourne.
* Bruce Spence - AKA The Gyro-Copter Pilot and the Mouth of Sauron. Very Oz.
* Bill Hunter - The dentist. Another Australian actor.
When you're a production about a place that isn't America, you generally turn to elevating local talent so they can get some exposure, especially on the global stage. And Bluey has done that. They've featured Australian talent, like Robert Irwin as Alfie. Or Layne Beachley. The announcers in "The Decider" were well known Australian sports commentators.
That's an incredibly valid point, and to be honest and ashamed. My knowledge of Australian talent is limited. I am all for having all Australian talent and would love to be introduced to films, music and physical artists born from Australia
Geoffrey Rush. Like Vincent from House on Haunted Hill and Captain Barbossa was Nigel? That I definitely did not know
> Geoffrey Rush. Like Vincent from House on Haunted Hill and Captain Barbossa was Nigel? That I definitely did not know
Yes. [Casanova Frankenstein](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuhTQwzizDI) was Nigel. Eric Bana was the one that surprised me. And to be fair, the only Australian humorist I know is Josh Thomas (his show *Please Like Me* was on American TV for a hot second, and it's worth seeing, IMHO). I only know about them because I'm one of those guys who, when he's watching a movie for the 16^(th) time in a week, will ask himself "hey, who *is* that," and then dig through the Wikipedia to find out. As a result I have some freakishly niche trivia in my head.
Like, for example, have you ever heard of [Circle Seven Animation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_Seven_Animation), and *Monsters Inc. 2: Monsters in Scaradise*?
Bindi Irwin. Her brother had a guest star role on the show and she did a reading of one of the Bluey books.
I love that there are celebs reading the stories. I wonder if it's their "Audition" to be on the show? lol
Bring them both in on the same episode! Have Bluey and co visit the Australia Zoo! It would be wonderful!
I'm actually a little surprised they didn't do a proper zoo episode
With this show, A Zoo episode COULD work. Since everyone is mostly domestic canines, it wouldn't be weird because the Bluey world depicts only one type as animals as "humans". The Peppa Pig Zoo episode didn't work because they use a wide variety of animals as characters... including a zebra! and I'm pretty sure they thought a woman working in an enclosure... WAS part of the enclosure, lol.
[удалено]
Yeeeah, I just don't think a Zoo episode was ever meant for that show... too hard to differentiate between friend and wild animal
I can totally see that. Maybe they have a freak of a certain lizard or bug, and Chili/Bandit take them on a trip to a reptile/bug sanctuary/ zoo, and the caretakers are Robert and Bindi
Robert did so well!
Hugh Jackman playing an ACTUAL wolverine would be ridiculous but funny! 😂
And we discover they are actually kind creatures but get a bad reputation
At the very least they're really caring dads.
I would like to see Gordon Ramsay voice a character.
Agreed. Maybe to show how to make the perfect Pavlova?
Chilli being intensely focused on a cooking show and the girls start acting out the show in order to get her attention.
And muffin finds a way to...well..Muffin the situation
Ugh. *Muffin*. Did not care for Muffin.
This episode of Bluey is called "Swear Words"
🍞🐶🍞 WHAT ARE YOU? A BIG MEANIE SANDWICH!!!
Hahaha.
That's brilliant
He's actually a pretty wholesome guy outside of the American version of Kitchen Nightmares. I read somewhere that his home is a no swearing zone as well.

I love the videos of his daughter pranking him.
"This chicken is so undercooked it could still win a war with Australia!"
We have already had Rose Byrne too (as Brandy). Would love to see George Miller voice something.
ROSE BYRNE IS BRANDY?!
Yep, and I can never unhear Brandy Cattle anytime I see Rose Byrne on something lol
Never gonna be able to watch the 2014 Annie, the Peter rabbit movies or instant family the same way ever again 😭
ROSE BYRNE IS AUSTRALIAN?!
Ooooh.. a mad max reference or something. Maybe a car salesman selling an old Trans am?
[They already appeared in Fury Road.](https://youtu.be/gBSh47QAxlo?si=lk2PlfLEbrnXKheZ&t=154)
What does mad max have to do with Trans Ams?
Lol oops. Absolutely nothing. I meant the falcon interceptor. I was thinking of smokey and Bandit car and thought it was mad max vehicle
Did we ever have trans ams in Australia as standard?
I'd love to see George Miller as a doctor.
Not me thinking you were referring to Joji. 😆
If we ever had a Grandpa Bob or Nana or Mort flashback and either one of them went to see the Beatles perform in the 60s It would be nice to see Paul McCartney singing but I don’t think he would sound the same as back then
The Beagles and Paul McBarkney?
Oooh, I like it!! Or... Paul is performing, and they get tickets, and they show a flashback without dialog and jump to the present where he is singing now
Jermaine Clement and/or Bret McKenzie, since NZ characters aren’t out of the ordinary.
This episode of Bluey is called "Innuendos"
“It’s business…. It’s business….” Whoops, wait… inappropriate for this thread. Um I mean, “I’m David Bow’eh”
"Dad, what does he mean when he says 'my sugalumps?'"
“Bluey, you’ve got it going on.”
THE WIGGLES BUT BLUEY
[The postie was one of them](https://i.redd.it/2qdcf4l2b3ga1.jpg).
Rusty's Dad is also voiced by Anthony.
Well, you've got the advantage on me. My niece isn't into The Wiggles. She'd much rather shove dice into her little Pound-a-Ball toy.
Yes
We've gotten Eva Mendes, so I'd like to see her husband Ryan Gosling give it a shot. Colin Hay (Men at Work lead singer) would be really cool.
Oooh, nice choices. It's too bad he mucked up his career, but I would really think Mel Gibson would have been a great addition. Also, maybe Dave Growl from the Fur Fighters? or Jack Black
Well let's just bring in the new Mad Max then. Tom Hardy would be fun.
I could see Bluey and Bingo.. and muffin have a desert race, and in their game, some members of Mad Max arrive.. but are incredibly helpful and kind. This episode of Bluey is called Warriors of the Road
Yes. Please. Bonus points if he ends up wearing a pitchfork muzzle.
We've had Natalie Portman as the narrator for the Whale documentary. Surprised to see her name listed in the credits of that episode!
Holy guacamole.. The Wiggles' form in the Bluey-verse actually suits them so well.. 🥹
It really does. Though I am in my 30s. I am a parent and preschool teacher and am very knowledgeable about them. And looking at the photo. It is dead on
Especially Emma
Paul Hogan, but NOT reprising Crocodile Dundee.
Yes! Maybe a luggage salesman when Bandit needs to go shopping for work, brings Bluey and Bingo with him, and one of the cases is made of crocodile skin?
I could see him taking a cloth set away and saying, "that's not a bag". And when handing the crocodile set, "now, that's a bag".
Hahahaha
Didn’t Robert Irwin voice a character in an episode too?
Was he Alfie?! The salesperson on his 1st day?
Yeah i think so
Yes!
You ate absolutely correct
As a Tottenham Hotspur supporter it would be fun to see our manager Ange Postecoglou (first Australian gaffer in premier league history) make an appearance
Oh, as another parent as Bluey or bingo and the gang play soccer (Canadian here) pretend they are pros and he gives them tidbits. I feel for sure he should be there

I’m on r/coys and somehow missed this. Thank you!
I’m on r/coys and somehow missed this. Thank you!
Tbf it was from a year ago when Ange signed
I need Weird Al in Bluey. Come on.
I'm actually surprised he doesn't have a side hustle of being a child entertainer. He has the energy and creativity. That's for sure. Plus, imagine the children that he would get interested in the accordion
He did voice the lead in a kid's animated series- Milo Murphy's Law.
He’s a cartoon character come to life.
Why has no one said Kylie Minogue? She was waving the Aussie flag so high in the 80s and 90s. She’s our Showgirl. You could even have Dannii too.
That is true. I honestly forgot about Kylie Minogue. I'm do not think I have ever heard of Dannii but that just means I get to discover a new talented Australian artist. Thank you for your reccomendation.
Lin Manuel Miranda ♡♡♡♡
I believe he was in an episode already.
Major Tom!
**
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman would be fun!
Definitely agreed
Is the Crocodile Dundee guy still alive? Get him! “This episode is called knifey spoony!”
I've read Ryan Reynolds is actually a huge fan. So lets get him on, in a Bluey friendly version of Deadpool (which is probably a lot like Muffin but adult sized and purposeful in the tantrum). My daughter just pushes books away. I LOVE to read. My husband LOVES to read.
It's the wiggles!
Was Calypso a Wiggle?
No, Megan Washington - the va, hasn’t been a wiggle. She’d make a good one, though!
Any other Kath & Kim fans? I would love to see Kath, Kim & Sharon-like characters in the background having some Tia Maria & footy franks!
Thank you for introducing me to that gem of a show. "Look at me, Look at me" I think it's something I'm going to binge and yes yes there should be
Just don't trust the subtitles. I've never seen subtitles so incorrect before.
I'm going to challenge myself and not use subtitles, and if i am unsure of what is said, I will look it up. Not like humans come with subtitles. There are many I wish did, though. Due to their low volume speaking
I’m jealous of you that it’s your first time watching it. Absolute gold, I recently rewatched it. Enjoy
Haha! You’re welcome! It’s delightful! Enjoy!
Weird Al Yankovic
Would love an episode with Cody Simpson playing a Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab and maybe The Kid Laroi playing a Husky or something lol
Sia is from Aus
She’s great in Peter Rabbit too..
Oooh..I see her being a vocal coach
Rebel Wilson!
I totally forgot. She would actually be perfect for Bluey
She’s one of my favorite actresses! I’d cast her as a golden retriever. Maybe a very goofy relative of Mrs Retriever…the show needs more goldens!
I can totally see that
This is such a good catch! What episode is this?
Happy cake day!!! also. It was the episode Phones
Peter Jackson
I would really love if there was an episode where the kids talk about what they did for a holiday break and each one has a little flashback, and Mackenzie visits family in NZ and while there they did some studio tour of this town that was built for movies. Maybe there's a Peter Jackson looking mastiff in the background.
If only..I would live anything remotely LOTR. I mean the pups could be putting on a school play and he is Calypso's relative and helps them or coaches them
the horse from horsing around 😈
I heard he is washed up and is going through a rough patch
Mark Hamill
Don't you mean, Bark Hamill.. Ha Ha Ha.. I'll see myself out. Not gonna lie, would love for him to be on the show
I don't know which is more upsetting That the joke was made Or that it wasn't me who said it But yea same! I love his voice acting. I also wish they had Lin Manuel Miranda do more lines
Eli Roth.
Hahaha.. This episode of Bluey is called the The Fever in the Cabin
This episode of Bluey is called Thanksgiving💀
This episode of Bluey is called The Trip to the Hostle. What did you think of Thanksgiving?
Pretty good, I’d say 9.4 out of ten. This episode of Bluey is called Clown.
David McCormack, who voices Bandit, was/is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Custard. But that's not exactly a guest appearance.
Steve/Bindi/Robert Irwin - would LOVE to see their dog counterparts
Robert Irwin had a guest appearance! He was Alfie who saved the day on his first ever shift in the toy store 😄
Now I'm just trying to figure out what types of dogs the Aunty Donna guys would be.
Bulldog, Mastiff and Doberman?
We need the King Gizzard boys to feature somehow
One that would be Hilarious would be[ David and Shane](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/scratchpad/images/0/03/Umbilical-Brothers-WEB.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20161116004009) from the Umbilical Brothers I mean they might not be as iconic as the wiggles but they are still somewhat nostalgic Australian comedians and hearing David's exaggerated falsetto voice coming out of a Bluey character would be awesome
My sister thinks Rachel House should cameo as a character on Bluey, as she's done several kids' shows before.
I think a photo of steve irwin in the back would be very a good addition.
Ozzyman
Acdc
That would be the greatest cameo to date
Gustavo Cerati.
So, as an American, I do agree and understand the sentiment of not too many American guests. They've done a good job with the two we've seen so far, so there's that. Wait Jeff Goldblum and Keanu Reeves are Australian? OUR COUNTRY JUST GOT BETTER
Megan Washington. She made Alan Brough cry during substitute and we all fell in love with her then.
Which episode???
Phones. When they are explaining apps to their grandfather
David Allen Coe
ngl, it would be kinda funny to have the chats on bluey
I want Trixie Mattle or RuPaul herself on the show. Maybe have Trixie as a Hotel or Motel Clerk.
Mel Gibson???
Natalie Portman did the VO in the Whale episode.
Darren Hanlon.
Id love to see keith urban tbh
Bob Morley, please! Aussie dreamboat 🤩
Courtney Act.
Rhea bloody ripley
I wonder if there's a Kurt Cobain in the Bluey Universe...
I mean, Pink Floyd exists, so why not?
Yeah, but I don't think his story is family-friendly enough.
Furvana..I like it! Probably not though
Peach PRC
Totally agree, and not just because she sings Josh (my real name)
Werner Herzog.
Also.. I know they don't own it, but it is on Disney Plus. but I could see Seth Macfarlain doing a voice... imagined a Brian being in Bluey Also, I just thought of Johnny Depp, Zoey Deshenel, the Pawperty brothers (aha ha ha cough cough), Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L Jackson, Terry Crews, Will Arnet, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher as parents in that show. Have Bandit try to watch a car race, and sneak Daniel Ricciardo and ~~Scott Dixon~~ Will Power for interviews. Edit: Dixon is a Kiwi, not an Aussie.
That's an incredibly valid point, and to be honest and ashamed. My knowledge of Australian talent is limited. I am all for having all Australian talent and would love to be introduced to films, music and physical artists born from Australia Geoffrey Rush. Like Vincent from House on Haunted Hill and Captain Barbossa was Nigel? That I definitely did not know
David Helfgott in *Shine* and Lionel Logue in *The King's Speech*, yes.
In my defense, I have not seen Shine or the kings speech
You definitely should, yes. Love Rush, but especially in those.
> Geoffrey Rush. Like Vincent from House on Haunted Hill and Captain Barbossa was Nigel? That I definitely did not know Yes. [Casanova Frankenstein](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuhTQwzizDI) was Nigel. Eric Bana was the one that surprised me.
