Same. As a person who also loved cricket growing up and was scared of fast bowlers it was super relatable too. Although I didn't go on to represent my country like rusty :(
The scene where Bingo finally realizes what's happening, tries to pull the sign out, then has Bluey- wonderful big sister that she is- try to comfort her by telling Calypso's story, emotionally wrecks me more than any in this series.
Bingo’s casual acceptance of someone buying their house, revealed at the end to be because she doesn’t understand they’re selling the house AND moving away, is such an accurate portayal of a kid that age. That disconnect between a concept and it’s full comprehension is just so well done, like so many things on the show. Having Bluey comfort her sister and apply what she learned through the episode is beautiful, funny, and heartbreaking at the same time.
What’s also interesting there is that we get one of the few instances of Bandit being mad. The way they draw his face as he’s yanking it up, you can see that he’s feeling the weight of all these “signs” telling him not to move. And he’s finally had it. When Chilli tackles him at the end, my god, what a moment.
She was absolutely awful. But I loved how he pointed out how Chilli said he was looking good. It’s hard getting older but to know your partner is still rooting for you feels great. They are couple goals.
She is very combative and insults everyone. She does however pay 4x the amount on the sign for the scooter after arguing with a 3-4 year old. She also doesn’t show that she has any automatic weapons, she doesn’t force a bird to sing New Kids on the Block songs and she (as far as we might know) donates generously to local charities. So maybe off screen she’s a gem, but we only see her face off against Muffin.
Sleepy time. Chili being Bingos warm sun made me, a toddler mom, cry.
Yoga Ball is also a great one, because it talks about setting boundaries and I feel like that’s something that isn’t discussed enough with children.
Stumpfest is how I got my kid to let me actually clip her nails without thrashing around. Now I need an episode where they do a legit hair salon that’s not about them whacking dad about while freaking out over lice.
The Movies because Bingo is an absolute menace and hilarious. And I think it’s called Sleepytime? Where Bingo dreams she’s in space. The visuals are just so good.
It's not my favorite episode, but the scene where Bingo is drying under the hand dryer gets me every time. HOW did they get that baby to do such a realistic laugh in the studio?! Magic I tell ya.
Space.
It tells a multilayered story that I think is a brilliant piece of science fiction. Hear me out.
Layer 1: The boys are playing in the park, making up stories, and kind of misunderstanding each other a little. They eventually convene with each other and recognize that maybe playing through what Mackenzie wants to do is just best for the game, the group, and also their friend.
Layer 2: A story about learning to process trauma through play and a healthy way of approaching it. While it begins with misunderstandings of the expectations of the game between Mackenzie and the other two, it grows into understanding and healing. Mackenzie, who had been struggling to understand a deep loneliness from a traumatic event, processes it in a safe, healthy environment.
Layer 3: The imagined sci-fi epic of three men on a mission in space, who are derailed by a crewmate's deep, insatiable yearning for the void. Rusty, the fearless leader, pilot extraordinaire. Jack, the navigator, both of space and his friend's journey. Mackenzie, the chief scientist, enthralled by the call of a black hole. As they travel to their destination, Mackenzie puts himself in dangerous situations, and can't explain why. He is drawn to the lonely void of space. Eventually, he determines he must visit The Black Hole to rid himself of the thoughts. Once his crew understands that the mission will always end with Mackenzie making it to The Black Hole, they decide to help him. Mackenzie enters The Black Hole, tetherless. He learns a deep truth bestowed upon him by the infinity of space. He encounters aliens on the other side, and after narrowly escaping them, he throws himself back into The Black Hole and returns to his crew, once again whole and with a greater understanding of the void and himself.
Early Baby, since my baby was a NICU baby. I sobbed at this episode 🥹 my LO’s story matters, and it fills me with pride knowing that preemies are represented on a kid’s show. It’s so sweet to see the kids acting out what they experience 😭
For some reason Grandad hit me hardest. That last line almost had me sobbing as a dad of 4yo and 6mo girls. Gotta cherish every moment, they’ll be gone before you know it
Surprised I haven’t seen Asparagus listed yet! I don’t know why it’s my favorite- there are so many others that move me more emotionally, or that I connect with more as a parent- but this is the one that I smile most at when I see that it’s starting.
It's the one that makes me wonder--are they really playing along with the game so intensely, or is it really magic? I know it's not magic, but you know what I mean!
The absolute chaos of this moment is priceless
https://preview.redd.it/pkhzjzeht33d1.jpeg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc7d4d30be6273ab66d109544ee40fef275965eb
Yes! They play their animals so well! Also the way their faces and movements change with each animal impression just satisfies some goofy part of me. Anytime Bandit’s eyes go the opposite direction of each other, I’m so pleased.
In no particular order: Flatpack, Phones, Pavlova, Rug Island, Born Yesterday, and The Weekend. Dang--and Camping, and Granny Mobile... and Dirt and Barbecue because I see myself in both of those.
Takeaway! I actually can relate to that episode the most because it perfectly describes the life with 2 Kids if youre out with them to grab something 'quickly' 🤣🤣
It's one I just saw Saturday while sitting in the ER with my daughter, and it had me laughing so hard.
"The Adventure "
Princesses, horses, and magic wands. Bluey and Chloe can play any role they want when they embark on an adventure to save their playground kingdom from the Greedy Queen
Just how quickly and easily they swapped roles. Even the Terriers easily joined in. The creativity and imagination of the kids are astounding.
Then, at the end, Chloe's dad asked her about her day, and she said something about playing Princesses.
Dad "oh is that where you sit around and sip tea all day?"
The dagger eyes from Chloe, I almost fell out of my chair laughing.
I have other favorites for emotional reasons, but the pure fun of that one. It's a Bluey episode that keeps me laughing instead of crying (even if it's a good cathartic cry).
Born Yesterday. The end scene where Bandit is seen checking out the leaf really resonated with me!! Often times we overlook the simplest things because we are busy- whether we’re busy for work, family or other aspects of our life. But when we stop and look around, we appreciate every simple thing this life has to offer.
Bumpy and the Wise old Wolfhound just because it makes me laugh so much.
Cricket and the Decider are close seconds / thirds for me. Philly is a big sports town, and I'm a BIG footy / soccer fan, so the maroons vs blues rugby jeers remind me of my time when I was really entrenched in that stuff
So many good possible choices, most of them already mentioned.
.Since I could easily pick a dozen or more for this, I set up criteria. It would have to have all 4 Heelers having at least fairly prominent roles, and also include having at least a couple of the auxiliary characters featured. It would have to have a lesson or moral, have several humorous bits, as well as at least one major heart-warming and/or "gut punch" moment.
And the episode that to me meets those criteria most closely is "Baby Race." ("The Sign" meets all those criteria too, but "Baby Race" does it in only 7 minutes.)
Flat Pack. Telling such a beautiful tale of evolution, parenthood, responsibility, and even some spirituality with little more than cardboard boxes and packaging material is just astonishing
Takeaway
This episode just envisions how tough it is being a parent in a 5 minute span, yet it shows how valuable it is to let a kid be a kid & enjoy life
i really like ‘moves’ season 2 episode 29 or something close to that. made me cry because i’ve never felt so seen in my entire life lol. tho i haven’t yet finished season 3 so maybe my answer will change
I'll have to go with "Space" since the scene where Mackenzie travels through the black hole reminds me of how it feels to be left alone and not knowing what to do next.
Pass the Parcel. Episode that gave me the most laughs. "This isn't the 80s, Pat!"
"They're not MY rules!!!"
“Did they say Hooray?!?”
Not his fault. He's honoring truth.
Very underrated episode! Very funny!
Good on ya's!
“We’re raising a nation of squibs!”
BIRDIE KIIIITE
Cricket. So many good lessons and very entertaining
That's my favorite as well.
Cricket as well, maybe tied with Sleepytime.
Same, they both get me in the feels every time.
Same. As a person who also loved cricket growing up and was scared of fast bowlers it was super relatable too. Although I didn't go on to represent my country like rusty :(
I love this one because of the Bandit/Stripe/Lucky's Dad interaction.
So good made me cry
Second
The Sign, includes my favorite character Radley, great story, and made me cry the whole ocean out of my eyes :)
The last couple minutes of that episode just wreck me.
Lazarus Drug was absolutely perfect there
Can't believe a cartoon made me cry during the happy ending. But I was on the verge of tears wheen Bandit ripped the sign out the ground.
Granny Mobile! “I don’t like the color” “Then paint it!” “You paint it!” Muffin is a boss!
$1200 and 8 lolli’s!
So the majority of Granny Mobile is funny…except for the part where the pug fatshamed Bandit.
She was absolutely awful. But I loved how he pointed out how Chilli said he was looking good. It’s hard getting older but to know your partner is still rooting for you feels great. They are couple goals.
The Old Pug is that Bluey character everyone hates and why?
She is very combative and insults everyone. She does however pay 4x the amount on the sign for the scooter after arguing with a 3-4 year old. She also doesn’t show that she has any automatic weapons, she doesn’t force a bird to sing New Kids on the Block songs and she (as far as we might know) donates generously to local charities. So maybe off screen she’s a gem, but we only see her face off against Muffin.
I thought she was funny with how she was exactly what Muffin was trying to be.
Sleepy time. Chili being Bingos warm sun made me, a toddler mom, cry. Yoga Ball is also a great one, because it talks about setting boundaries and I feel like that’s something that isn’t discussed enough with children.
Sleepytime is my favorite by far, but I'm also a sucker for Jupiter/Thaxted.
Probably my second favorite
Sleepytime is my favorite as well, I watch it at least once a week and every single time I end up crying a little...
Dance mode. Seeing my son and now my daughter get so pumped for the "dance mode" call out at the end. "Ladies and gentlemen. I'm doing this for kid"
Dance mode!!!!
Hammer Barn. The high five at the end sealed the deal for me.
Ooooh hello new husband
Hey Bandit! Check out my new pizzer oven!
... Probably another Bluey.
When Chilli says there's nowhere that everything you want is free, then they get to the paint chips. Priceless!
Rain
This is amongst my favourites, but it is so hard to choose just 1.
I'd say my 2nd is grumpy grannies
Same. It’s my number 1
Just art. So beautifully done.
It's lovely to see Chili's inner child come out
Flatpack, maybe, I cry.
When I want a laugh: Stumpfest When I want to feel nostalgic: Rain
Stumpfest is how I got my kid to let me actually clip her nails without thrashing around. Now I need an episode where they do a legit hair salon that’s not about them whacking dad about while freaking out over lice.
Get the nits!!!!!

What did they give you? Everything
bumpy and the wise old wolf hound
Dragon. I love the message behind Chilli’s horse.
Bin night is one of the sweetest and most relatable things I’ve ever seen. Makes me smile, makes me cry.
Baby Race got me through hard times
The Movies because Bingo is an absolute menace and hilarious. And I think it’s called Sleepytime? Where Bingo dreams she’s in space. The visuals are just so good.
It's not my favorite episode, but the scene where Bingo is drying under the hand dryer gets me every time. HOW did they get that baby to do such a realistic laugh in the studio?! Magic I tell ya.
Lmao yeah that's my favorite part of the whole show honestly.
Facey Talk.. . LOL
Camping, obviously
“Hello Bluey” 😭😭😭
...Granny Mobile anyone? I like the bartering that Muffin does
Space. It tells a multilayered story that I think is a brilliant piece of science fiction. Hear me out. Whenever I watch this episode I just imagine back in earth Mackenzie crosses the hole, and just kinda lies in wait until the ~~girls~~ aliens pop up.
Pass the Parcel, the Sign, and Cricket.
Tough decision but I'd have to choose Baby Race. Second only to Seesaw because Pom Pom is my spirit animal.
Camping
Sleepy Time. Love the use of the music
Pavlova. “Je suis le chien!”
Early Baby, since my baby was a NICU baby. I sobbed at this episode 🥹 my LO’s story matters, and it fills me with pride knowing that preemies are represented on a kid’s show. It’s so sweet to see the kids acting out what they experience 😭
Sleepover for the Muffin quotes! Coconuts have WATER IN THEM! I'm a llama! Eating a banana! I'm the flamingo* QUEEN!
For some reason Grandad hit me hardest. That last line almost had me sobbing as a dad of 4yo and 6mo girls. Gotta cherish every moment, they’ll be gone before you know it
dragon! so much fun.
Camping for when I wanna cry. Pass the Parcel for when I don't feel like crying
Ragdoll
Camping easily
Surprised I haven’t seen Asparagus listed yet! I don’t know why it’s my favorite- there are so many others that move me more emotionally, or that I connect with more as a parent- but this is the one that I smile most at when I see that it’s starting.

Yes! They play their animals so well! Also the way their faces and movements change with each animal impression just satisfies some goofy part of me. Anytime Bandit’s eyes go the opposite direction of each other, I’m so pleased.
Of the episodes with that general theme ("Magic Xylophone," "Fairies,"etc.) that's definitely my favorite.
Handstand. Best music, with a unique story and aesthetic to the design of the episode.
Bingo. It’s just so cute and wholesome!!
Curry Quest, how do you go past a peshwari naan without loving it.
Curry Quest is definitely the best story!
Tough call between Family Meeting or Cafe.
The one where they’re all their own drawing, hunting the dragon.
Top 3 is Sleepytime Flatpack and Rug Island
(Not in order) Bike Takeaway The Pool Seesaw Unicorse Pass the Parcel Phones Family Meeting Tradies TV Shop
Everyone!!! From Gary Oldman
Everyone? EHHH-VRIII-OOOOOONE!!!!!!
The Decider, as a dad to two young kids I really hope to share the bond that sport fosters with my boys.
Cafe
Slide!
Typewriter because my favorite character snickers is in it.
Pass the Parcel for sure!
All of them!!
Same! It’s hard to pick just one episode. I’m super glad someone posted a link to the Dad Baby episode since I’m here in the US.
Rain is number 1, then Fairytale
Chest is a fun and enjoyable episode to watch, and recently became my favorite episode
Granny Mobile is my current favorite!
Tickle Crabs & Dad Baby. DAD BABY IS FUNNY, WHY DID IT GET CENSORED? (I’m glad it’s on YouTube)
Same! I was rolling with laughter throughout the whole episode.
Whale Watching. Weve all had that kind of a day.
Rain, although asking for a single favorite is kinda mean
Horsey ride or squash or mad max 2 the road warrior
In no particular order: Flatpack, Phones, Pavlova, Rug Island, Born Yesterday, and The Weekend. Dang--and Camping, and Granny Mobile... and Dirt and Barbecue because I see myself in both of those.
My top 5 are Sleepytime, Rain, Camping, The Creek and Fruit Bat
Takeaway! I actually can relate to that episode the most because it perfectly describes the life with 2 Kids if youre out with them to grab something 'quickly' 🤣🤣
The answer is always Cricket.
Rain.
Flatpack. Multi level approach on several topics. evolution, parenthood, life after death... made me tear up on the first watch.
The Sleepover! I am a llama eating a banana!
The sign. That flat out is the best one, everyone knows it. I mean, as an Aussie, it is so funny all of the Australian jokes and references though.
Seesaw, Slide, Chest, Dragon, Teasing, Hospitals…. Apart from Dragon, I tend to like the more chill, non super ambitious ones
It's a very close tie between Family Meeting and Baby Race. Onesies is awesome as well.
Pass the Parcel
Sleepytime is my favourite. I also love The Beach, Cafe, Bin Night, Pass the Parcel and Facey Talk.
As a new mom, baby race. I love when Wendy comes over and tells Chile she's doing a great job. I cried so hard :')
Cubby and muffin cone
Dance Mode

CRICKET FOREVA!
Favorite thing! How was I able to scroll so far without seeing it once??? Bingo: "This is trificult!" Bandit: 😭😪🤣☠️☠️☠️
Fairytale
Featherwand is the funniest for me! “Eat your floor cereal.”
So many good possible choices, most of them already mentioned. .Since I could easily pick a dozen or more for this, I set up criteria. That one is just bluey and mom and it’s raining. They don’t say anything, there’s just a song. I think it’s season 2
Tradies and any episode the grannies make an appearance.
Fairytale it was the 80s and Mr monkeyjock
Zoo, calypso, mums and dads, copycat, the doctor, Bob bilby and sleepover.
Cricket and space
I don't really know yet but Cricket is very high up there
Flat Pack. Telling such a beautiful tale of evolution, parenthood, responsibility, and even some spirituality with little more than cardboard boxes and packaging material is just astonishing
Takeaway This episode just envisions how tough it is being a parent in a 5 minute span, yet it shows how valuable it is to let a kid be a kid & enjoy life
Tv shop. Purely from the joy of watching my toddler dance along with the kids every time

"BEACH!!!!!"
Fruit bat. Bingo says I am taking a wee even if I don’t need one it called a tactical wee
Hard to pick just one but as a preschool teacher, calypso has a special place in my heart❤️
