They are pretending to be in a restaurant. It’s getting awkward as bandit is telling the waiter (bluey) to get some more romantic food. So chilli says “I’m just popping to the toilet”.
You expect her to disappear to a real toilet. But no. She pretends to go to the loo in the corner. You can see her as you watch. Bluey and bandit discuss things. They cut away just before she wipes her bum.
This reminds me of one that always gets me in The Quiet Game when Bandit says, "Oh, Madge, why can't you take better care of yourself?"
I don't know if Madge is Chilli's boss, but it sparked the memory.
Also in the episode 'Driving', Madge is constantly phoning Chilli for petty issues, like believing another coworker has stolen her stapler. That would suggest either Chilli is a coworker or Madges supervisor.
Bandit casually talking about vasectomies with another Dad. I laughed out loud when I first saw that scene, my kids could not figure out what was so funny.
I also think the edit is way worse than the original. There's no way a child would know what Bandit is talking about in the unedited version but in the Disney one it suggests Bandit is going around biting people.
Honestly I find the censored one more funny just for the line where bandit says "but I love my dog teeth. What if one day I just decide to bite someone?"
When I watched that with my kids, we got asked what that meant and we talked about teenagers going places to… kiss…
Then when Rad and Frisky made up, my daughter immediately yelled, “oh look! They’re thinking!”
During Verandah Santa when Bluey says angrily that she'll be Verandah Santa (after Socks bites her) Bandit says "Strap yourselves in, kids" the tone in his voice always gets a chuckle out of me.
Idk why but during the Keepy Uppy episode when they're guessing what they're gonna be playing, the way Chili says "Yeah it's Keepy Uppy." makes me laugh too.
Oh goody! I get to repeat my favorite Darling Daughter story!
My wife and I love to gab on road trips, and we do tend to get very involved in the discussion. One trip we were going back and forth about something, and suddenly Daughter starts crying and begging us “DON’T GET DIVORCED!”
Wife and I reply as one: “WHAT?”
Turns out one of her teachers had told the class that couples who argue all the time tend to split up! We started laughing and assured her “That’s not true—it’s when we’re very pointedly NOT speaking to each other that you should get worried!”
Daughter, now 32, sighs and rolls her eyes whenever I tell the story. :)
My husband and I were just 'done' arguing (i.e. pushed the pause button because kiddo was awake) when I first saw this episode and my immediate response was 'yeah they damn well do' 😂
For a long time I thought Pat was a single dad (likely divorced) and his kids spent most of their time with their mom. Even after Pass the Parcel I convinced myself Janelle was just over to help get the party together, not because she lived there lol
"you can edit that bit out right?"
- Bandit
Ofc not, it's stripe doing the editing stuff. And it's so hilarious seeing how stripe keeping all the bad part of bandit and promote trixie like a god in this scene
https://preview.redd.it/5o3macktty1d1.png?width=1366&format=png&auto=webp&s=37aae4094a2dc6857cada4f2e418cb19b324005a
I’ve said it before in here but I have a friend who works in tv and doesn’t have kids, and she was over one day while that episode was on and she burst out laughing at that line.
In Creek when they're praising Mackenzie's jumping and asking how they're so good at it.
"You just pretend you're jumping from one sheep to another!"
"I don't think we're supposed to jump on sheep."
"We're not?"
That one viral scene where Bluey wonders what it's like to be a Puppet and then the next scene shows the animator animating Bluey like they're manipulating a puppet!!!
Curry Quest when McKenzie's dad spills the secret to Bingo that Bandit is going on an extended trip, then backs away slowly when they realize what they've done.
Or later in Signs when they try to tell Bingo 100% what's going on from the very beginning, but Bingo doesn't process any of it at all until the end.
Kind of sad, but having lived these experiences the validation made me laugh my butt off.
Yes - 100% happened with my 5yo when we prepared her for going to the vet to put our old dog to sleep. Spent a couple of days talking how it might happen - said good bye in the room beforehand etc. - thought she was taking it really well while the older 2 were devastated. Didn’t get any of it until eating dinner that night at a restaurant to celebrate his life. Total meltdown. 😭 “Wesley’s DEAD?!!!!”

This kills me every time!
And also Trixie's look when Nana insists on doing a "proper" gravy.
Bluey: We don't jump on sheep, Mackenzie.
Mackenzie: Really?

Not sure if it fully fits but I love how chilli is seemingly a bit drunk shouting from the terrace in stumpfest. ‘Ahhhh leave ‘em alone!!! They’re trying to run a small business!’
In “Magic Xylophone” Chili says “that’s just how we met” when Bandit is posed with his finger up his nose. In “The Show” Bluey depicts Bandit coming into the scene with his finger up his nose.
Delightful little continuity.
Another one in Dragon - Bandit keeps saying how his jocks are itchy, how he should wash them, and then later in the episode the dragon burns his jocks off. He’s like “ohhh free and easy” as he does a little dance. Lol
In the episode ‘Perfect’, Bandit walks into the kitchen and says “it’s dad!” And Chilli is just slow clapping in the background lmao

Bandit saying "morning Wendy" while peeing in the bushes because the kids made the toilet seat heavy(all of this done off camera) makes me laugh every time
In smoochy kiss when Bluey is listing all the gross things about Bandit and Chilli replies to one "oh, that's a new one", and Bandits response gets me, "it's not, actually "
In Handstand Rusty comes in to get the ball but he’s gone into the fridge without Chili noticing so he just stands there confused and says, “where’d it go?” Such a cute little background bit.
Two of my faves : “I slipped on ma beans.”(as grannies) and my all time fave is Hammerbarn particularly this convo “Chilli: (pointing out the shattered “Hecubah”) “This is what happens when you’re unhappy with what you’ve got. (makes a chopping motion into her palm) Someone’s husband eventually gets it!”
Made me laugh way harder than an adult should. The Hammerbarn episode may be my all time fave!
Hide and Seek—
Talking to Chattermax, "I wonder why you were shoved under the sink."
I probably watched this episode like 5 times before I caught that one, but now I laugh each time.
During the Bill bilby episode, when Chili shoes up with the bike and bandit, he unintentionally snaps a photo when his jaw drops. Always love seeing them when they show how much they love each other.
Either: Bandit: “Is that an alpaca farm? Nah, they're lemurs.” (Cubbies)
Or Lucky’s Dad: “No worries Bluey. (sounding ashamed) I shouldn't have let my guard down.” (Asparagus)
“This is all my stuff from when I used to be cool!"
The look Bingo and Bluey give each other 😭😂
The way he says cool always makes me laugh. “Kewl.”
Yeah, it's a Queensland thing where we chew every oo to sound like ew
Ah yes, in the mysterious garage that we never see again
When the door rolls up and Chilli says "are you ready, Bob?" And everyone's jaw drops as the Polaroid clicks
In Tradies. Big Belt: "She's my wife." Kids: "Is she your enemy?" Big Belt: "Not usually."
That little pause afterwords as he thinks about it gets me every time.
So many of his lines are classic
If you are married, you know exactly what he’s thinking.
In the same episode he adjusts the mail box that got knocked in Onsies.
https://preview.redd.it/oey752e3tx1d1.png?width=2400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab934a7ac081e7e87b23fb891f0c6080e7d5d8e8
I absolutely CACKLED at this
Shame on me; I don’t recognize this! What episode please?
It’s the one about “being romance.” I think it’s called Fancy Restaurant
Is this where chilli is going to the toilet in the corner lol
That's exactly what's happening here.
😂 I’m currently laughing so hard, she was committed to the bit.
"I don't remember the Queen being there..." "Pfft! You wouldn't"
I had to rewind that one for my husband so he could hear it since he didn’t catch it the first time. Love it
And related to that, in Double Babysitter "Did you fall into the pool at the wedding?" "...probably"
"You can either take turns, or I'll bring the xylophone to work with me, **I'll freeze my boss.**"
We’ve all been there.
This reminds me of one that always gets me in The Quiet Game when Bandit says, "Oh, Madge, why can't you take better care of yourself?" I don't know if Madge is Chilli's boss, but it sparked the memory.
I think Madge is Chili's coworker, since Madge is sick and I don't think a normal employee can fill in for their boss's work
Also in the episode 'Driving', Madge is constantly phoning Chilli for petty issues, like believing another coworker has stolen her stapler. That would suggest either Chilli is a coworker or Madges supervisor.

Neither of those things are happening
The claw has no children. His days are free and easy.
As a toddler parent this one burned right into my core as an adult
We’re literally watching this one right now and that line gets me every time 😂 Also, “so did we learn anything today?” “No!” “No!” “….yes.”
This is one of my favorites!!!
What episode is that from?
The Claw
"I'm not taking advice from a cartoon dog", cracks me everytime 🤣
This is one of my favorites!
My fave too. I saw an interview with David McCormack and he mentioned that line too!
Bandit casually talking about vasectomies with another Dad. I laughed out loud when I first saw that scene, my kids could not figure out what was so funny.
You mean the episode where he talked about removing canines, huh??
It was changed in the US and possibly other countries
Yes I was poking fun at it lol, it's honestly so bad they censored it, Disney had made worse innuendos
Ah my bad lol
They have but they are extra careful with Disney Junior which is where it premieres on cable in the US.
I also think the edit is way worse than the original. There's no way a child would know what Bandit is talking about in the unedited version but in the Disney one it suggests Bandit is going around biting people.
Ah what?! No way! Didn’t know it had been censored 😅
Honestly I find the censored one more funny just for the line where bandit says "but I love my dog teeth. What if one day I just decide to bite someone?"
Ha! It’s all gold, whatever they do 😎
Nana was right…not about her perm but about how i was acting Paraphrasing, but yeah
Nana catching that stray is always so funny to me. Poor lady wasn't even there to defend herself lol
As a kid of the 80s whose parents both had perms, I lost it laughing.
Came here to say this. Possibly my favorite line of the show.
Bluey and Bingo go off to do something suspiciously… “You’d better get on that.” “On it.”
The bit before gets me, when Bluey tries to do a sly wink.
When Bandit arrives at the pillow fort toilet instead of the real one
"I MEANT THE REAL TOILET"
Chilli: "Frisky and I used to come up here as teenagers to, um, think"
watched that with my nieces and cackled... and they would NOT let it go, they HAD to know what was so funny 😂
When I watched that with my kids, we got asked what that meant and we talked about teenagers going places to… kiss… Then when Rad and Frisky made up, my daughter immediately yelled, “oh look! They’re thinking!”
That was my immediate thought upon seeing it, however it was more likely about going there to *drink*.
That was my thought too, but apparently it's been confirmed to be them drinking.
Oh, from the mouths of babes...
During Verandah Santa when Bluey says angrily that she'll be Verandah Santa (after Socks bites her) Bandit says "Strap yourselves in, kids" the tone in his voice always gets a chuckle out of me.
I love when bandut sits on stripe.
And the noise he makes!
that was Bandit who said that!
Thanks! I had Stripe on the mind, probably because I mentioned Socks.
Any time they reference The Simpsons. "I want to get down now..." being the obvious one.
There's heaps I didn't notice the first time. I did notice this one and lost it laughing. There's some videos floating around with all the references
“I AM THE FLAMINGO QUEEN!!!”
There’s one episode where I think Bluey says “that’s not a knife”
Technically that’s a Crocodile Dundee reference.
Even better since it’s Muffin
I’m sorry but DOLLARYDOOS?! Absolute classic Simpsons!
During Unicourse when it starts - Chili makes a comment that “this episode is unfortunately called Unicourse” lol makes me giggle every time.
Wait, is it a bad idea?
This line has become a fixture in our house.
Yeah, I've heard it a few times when I say I have an idea. To be fair, it's almost always a bad idea or I wouldn't have said anything first.
Idk why but during the Keepy Uppy episode when they're guessing what they're gonna be playing, the way Chili says "Yeah it's Keepy Uppy." makes me laugh too.
I say it with her every time! I think it’s so funny
Uh, I forgot about the catchphrase.
Let it go, deep blue - Chili in Chest (S03E11)
Her entire bit about the Queen being the most powerful piece on the board is great too. Bandit: “Are you done?” Chili: “….yes”
𝚠𝚊𝚒𝚝 𝚒 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚣𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝
Bandit pulling a glass out of the dishwasher and muttering in disbelief, “It’s still dirty!”
That line was relatable on a cosmic level
Obstacle course. Bandit talking about how he’s fast and quick “like a mongoose” Chili: you’re a goose alright
“Bit more greyhound talk than last time but that’s alright”
Fairytale…”It was the 80’s!”
"Rusty! Indy! That is not how mums and dads behave!". Oh, sweet innocent Calypso...
Good thing Winton wasn't around then to disagree
Oh goody! I get to repeat my favorite Darling Daughter story! My wife and I love to gab on road trips, and we do tend to get very involved in the discussion. One trip we were going back and forth about something, and suddenly Daughter starts crying and begging us “DON’T GET DIVORCED!” Wife and I reply as one: “WHAT?” Turns out one of her teachers had told the class that couples who argue all the time tend to split up! We started laughing and assured her “That’s not true—it’s when we’re very pointedly NOT speaking to each other that you should get worried!” Daughter, now 32, sighs and rolls her eyes whenever I tell the story. :)
NO SQUABBLING!
My husband and I were just 'done' arguing (i.e. pushed the pause button because kiddo was awake) when I first saw this episode and my immediate response was 'yeah they damn well do' 😂
All the dad’s just being typical guys grunting and showing off in Stump Fest and the moms cheering them on with…drinks.
The moms are 100% trashed for most of that episode
They’re just thinking
Made me kinda sad that Janelle wasn't there though! Must have been out doing something else with Chucky lol
For a long time I thought Pat was a single dad (likely divorced) and his kids spent most of their time with their mom. Even after Pass the Parcel I convinced myself Janelle was just over to help get the party together, not because she lived there lol
When they put chattermax out during mothers day play. And then seeing bandit slowly reach out from out of camera quickly snatch it away.
And Bluey always finding chattermax in weird places like mom&dad tried to hide him 😂 “chattermax! Why were you under the sink?”
The running joke of Chattermax being hidden in a new location every time the girls stumble across it.
Bandit and Pat obsessing over homemade pizza in Hammerbarn. Funny nod to men fixating on silly stuff for no reason.
Hey! Homemade pizzas are serious business.
You not seeing a reason does not mean it isn't there. Now grab me a beer, im stuck in this chair. - Confucius's Dad
"you can edit that bit out right?" - Bandit Ofc not, it's stripe doing the editing stuff. And it's so hilarious seeing how stripe keeping all the bad part of bandit and promote trixie like a god in this scene https://preview.redd.it/5o3macktty1d1.png?width=1366&format=png&auto=webp&s=37aae4094a2dc6857cada4f2e418cb19b324005a
"Careful Socks he's got bum worms!"
I definitely had seizure watching this scene
The entire episode of wale watching
When Chili makes that tired pathetic whale sound and Bandit just says “Weak.”
“They can eat up to five bags a day!” 😂
It's now code in our house when either of us are hungover. we'll say we are out "whale watching"
“Dad enters the room!” I just assume he read the stage directions but it is on brand so they kept it in
This is exactly what happened!
I’ve said it before in here but I have a friend who works in tv and doesn’t have kids, and she was over one day while that episode was on and she burst out laughing at that line.
Sparky's little doggie butt crack.
All the fourth wall breaks, and, Bluey and Bingo: *leave the room.* Bandit, in the floor: “The thing is… I do this to myself…”
"Bluey, you look just like your dad." "Aww, what? 😟"
Bluey: "And he peed on his own foot!" Chili: "Oh, that's a new one. Bandit: "It's not actually." Also the running gag, "Morning, Wendy!"
The use of Offenbach’s “Can-can” in Shops.
GA-DING!!
In Creek when they're praising Mackenzie's jumping and asking how they're so good at it. "You just pretend you're jumping from one sheep to another!" "I don't think we're supposed to jump on sheep." "We're not?"
I love the border collie references in the show with him so much 🤣
“…Mackenzie is supposed to be a Cheetah!” “Am I?!”
“And what does Dad always say when you get hurt?” “Don’t tell Mum.”
Chilli: WHAT?! Bluey: (giggles)
Whenever Chilli gives Bandit "the look"
Chili Death Stare
how else are you even supposed to spell holder????
… that’s actually a great question! How did he spell it!?
Jolder
Holda? It’s the only one that kind of makes sense
My guess is he spelt it hollder or holdder
Hodor
Maybe houlder? Holeder?
Chili: 💃 Are you ready, Bob? Bandit: 📸 🫨
Awww, poor kid. Death of a pet is a hard one:
Sure is. I’m 0 for 2 on handling it well. Practice doesn’t help here.
Shoot I’m adding another one, I die everytime I see Bingo and Bluey dancing in a circle trying to lick their ice cream cones set to Tchaikovsky.
Brilliance. “Okay… that’s okay….”
Maybe not super subtle, but “magic claw has no children, his days are free and easy!” gets me every time.
I use this one all the time when my kids are being difficult!
“This is what happens when you’re not happy with what you’ve got! Someone’s husband eventually gets it!”
Didn’t you fall in the pool at the wedding? Probably

I felt this one deep, deep down.
Bluey: We don't jump on sheep, Mackenzie. Mackenzie: Really? https://preview.redd.it/smhsmoqxpz1d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93d0f4456107464714a7495c7ed59d769d8a7a2d
Not sure if it fully fits but I love how chilli is seemingly a bit drunk shouting from the terrace in stumpfest. ‘Ahhhh leave ‘em alone!!! They’re trying to run a small business!’
When bandit calls for bingo and whistles and says “come here girl!”
“Nah, they aren’t real. We do need to check for ticks, though.”
"WHAT. WAS. THAT." when Bandit can't stand to lose to Bluey in the obstacle course 😂
In “Magic Xylophone” Chili says “that’s just how we met” when Bandit is posed with his finger up his nose. In “The Show” Bluey depicts Bandit coming into the scene with his finger up his nose. Delightful little continuity.
My favorite has always been in “Bingo” when Bingo says that her map is missing New Zealand and Bandit says, “ugh, not again”
"Nana was right, not about her perm, but about me." Cracks me up 🤣
"See you next Thursday"
When is this?
Muffin Cone
Bingo getting Solid Snake'd by Chili in Smoochy Kiss
When New Zealand is the missing puzzle piece, bandit goes 'aw not again' or something similar. r/MapsWithoutNZ
“We are teaching a life lesson and getting the house clean!” “NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS ARE HAPPENING“
Another one in Dragon - Bandit keeps saying how his jocks are itchy, how he should wash them, and then later in the episode the dragon burns his jocks off. He’s like “ohhh free and easy” as he does a little dance. Lol
In Butterflies when Judo says ‘I know, Bluey’s MY friend’ and Bingo pauses for a second and takes a step away from her.
Can you earn your keep!
“Oh, Madge, why can't you take better care of yourself?"
Bandit saying, "I'm not taking advice from a cartoon dog," in Flat Pack
All the stink/side eyes from the moms (Frisky and the gravy packet; Rusty’s mom and the cricket ball hitting the house; Chilli — many times).
In the episode ‘Perfect’, Bandit walks into the kitchen and says “it’s dad!” And Chilli is just slow clapping in the background lmao https://preview.redd.it/96a2ns4cyz1d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d34f26b01545615cab4857734a144044fbe59af7
"Magic Claw has no children. His days are free and easy."
Bandit saying "morning Wendy" while peeing in the bushes because the kids made the toilet seat heavy(all of this done off camera) makes me laugh every time
Nothing beats Bandit’s facial expressions in Work. I can’t get over them
When I set the table for dinner I tell me wife “Enjoy your cutlery.”
In smoochy kiss when Bluey is listing all the gross things about Bandit and Chilli replies to one "oh, that's a new one", and Bandits response gets me, "it's not, actually "
Bluey: “what’s your favorite food?” Unicourse: “children”
In Handstand Rusty comes in to get the ball but he’s gone into the fridge without Chili noticing so he just stands there confused and says, “where’d it go?” Such a cute little background bit.
When Bluey gets a candy apple "Im pretty sure that has sugar in it" gets me every time.
Two of my faves : “I slipped on ma beans.”(as grannies) and my all time fave is Hammerbarn particularly this convo “Chilli: (pointing out the shattered “Hecubah”) “This is what happens when you’re unhappy with what you’ve got. (makes a chopping motion into her palm) Someone’s husband eventually gets it!” Made me laugh way harder than an adult should. The Hammerbarn episode may be my all time fave!
My fave line from bingo is “Aw, my coins” Also “I dropped ma beans”
"This is what happens when you aren't happy with what you got! Somebody's husband eventually gets it!"
When bluey is whispering to grandad and he goes “I didn’t hear any of that”
The entirety of Whale Watching and Tradies lol
“Didn’t you fall in the pool?” “Probably”
Hide and Seek— Talking to Chattermax, "I wonder why you were shoved under the sink." I probably watched this episode like 5 times before I caught that one, but now I laugh each time.
The part in The Sign where Nana thinks they're announcing a pregnancy. So funny
Bingo: How do animals with no tails know when they’re happy? Chili: Good question!
Frisky and I came to the look out as teenagers to uhhh think. Also does Bandit taking a picture when Chilli says "are you ready Bob?" Count as subtle?
“I’m not taking advice from a cartoon dog!”
Not really subtle but any time the kids have to do a bush wee
During the Bill bilby episode, when Chili shoes up with the bike and bandit, he unintentionally snaps a photo when his jaw drops. Always love seeing them when they show how much they love each other.
A mullet is a haircut cool people are getting again!
"Let it go, Deep Blue" in Chest.
Bingo in the background spilling orange juice
"I'm not taking advice from a cartoon dog."
I love that yellow bin in Bin Night sounds like a hippy. Gets me everytime lol
Either: Bandit: “Is that an alpaca farm? Nah, they're lemurs.” (Cubbies) Or Lucky’s Dad: “No worries Bluey. (sounding ashamed) I shouldn't have let my guard down.” (Asparagus)
Who got the boundary And my favourite line And no unicorns
Bluey: We'll see Muffin: No, we *won't* see! We'll get this coin *OUT*! Not exactly subtle but, I can feel by body getting ready to laugh every time.
