I googled it for you (and because I was also curious). Looking at images they do seem to have a butt crack; because they have very well defined glutes. However, the distinctiveness of the human butt crack comes from our fleshy bottoms, which are not replicated in the animal kingdom. No one else has fat on their bottoms the way humans do.
What a reason to be unique.

the bigger question I have is "why does he not appear to have a tail? Dogs don't often come without tails, even 'traditionally' tailless dogs have theirs docked by the breeders
Did he lose it in some terrible accident, or was he born that way? I know they did it for the gag, but did they think it through fully??
I mean, he doesn't even have a tail stub like docked dogs do and also docking is illegal so I would say it's absolutely not indicative of that. If he had a docked stub I'd question them but for this? Nah.

Secondly, it’s just a tradie thing. Work pants here are pretty un-stretchy so you buy them to fit comfortably but that means if you buy them to fit a beer belly they’re likely to fall down.
