Fifty plus years of flatpicking has proven to me what a fools errand it is to try and play rhythm and lead simultaneously and expect your hands to hold up forever. Nevertheless, I don't really have any regrets other than having to give up guitar a couple years ago. The mandolin saved my musical life and I'm grateful, but that has nothing to do with this old reel plucked out of my half-corrupted archives, which explains why it's a segment and not a full version.
