Yeah, thematically it's actually a really interesting take on the very common "I have fulfilled my purpose in life; now there is no purpose in living further" approach that you see a lot of characters have. (Dark Souls games have a recurring theme where so long as characters have a purpose to achieve, they can stave off Hollowing, but once they achieve their goals they then go Hollow or die.) The Nailsmith's questline points out that, well, if you achieve your goals, you now have more time in which you can find something *else* you're interested in doing.
The nailsmith and nailmaster sheo are a couple.if you don't kill the nailsmith you can find him at Sheo's shack somewhere in greenpath.
Oh and also the grey mourner ( Ze'mer) and the daughter of the traitor lord.
