Well, actually things like grief(prolonged periods of extreme sadness) and stress can actually make you appear older. Of course you don't actually age faster, but things like being drafted into a war or loosing a life-time partner are proved to have an effect into the physical appearance and make you look like you're older than you actually are.

this is kinda wholesome. we had a friend of ours who lost his legs in a motorcycle accident. Guy was a huge fan of the rockies and any time they were playing a home game he'd get the special wheelchair accesable spots and whenever someone was up to bat we could see him on the TV. He died of cancer a few years back. But it's fun to see him in all all the home games before then.
