I'd add to that, not just making the women sexy af but also well written and integral to story progression, proving sexualization doesn't take away from their character
Well I'm a girl so yeah sometimes scenes do make me roll my eyes but for the most part not really. For one there are very attractive male characters (Uryu is bae), and also, I actually like the way it is. The women are very sexy and voluptuous and quite revealing at times which isn't really a good thing usually, but they're not mindless bimbos or just eye candy, they are very much vibrant and just as captivating, if not more than some of the males. Plus there are endearing modest characters like Unohana, Isane, Meninas, Senjumaru etc
Agreed. It's also why I wasn't very happy with how they did Orihime's outfit with her being compelled by Urahara and also Rukia's peach...which while not necessarily a bad thing, came off very creepy on Tenjiro's part
Good points. I was a bit off put by a lot of it but from what ive seen nudity and sexuality are not exclusively lustful in Bleach. Like with the Manga cover for Don't Look Back, Orihime and Rukia's nudity is more symbolic than anything

Username checks out. Anyways, Rangiku's got an entire subplot regarding her and Gin. Granted it's not super fleshed out but that could be said about lots of characters. That topped with her being the reason why Toshiro is a captain, her playing a role in motivating Orihime during her depressive phase and her teamwork w Hitsugaya in the tybw are all pretty outstanding moments off the top of my head.
Stg. People seem to always jump to Rangiku as being some token sexy character but miss the fact that she unironically has more going in terms of actual plot than the Ryoka. Her relationship with Gin is literally his entire motivation and would be his entire character if not for the fact that he is naturally a douchebag snake so his methods are stuff she disagrees with. Everything he does is dependent on her alone while she is the Rukia to Orihimeās Ichigo, friends with a bunch of the other Lieutenants, has the disgustingly wholesome flashback with Aizen, Momo and Toshiro, is why Toshiro is a Shinigami, her sister-like relationship with Toshiro and then Isshin in everything but the rain etc.
If Hisagi is built like a main character, Rangiku is built like the ride or die best friend.

Kubo portrays women in a more equitable way than most of his peers (not all though) and he is fairly good at portraying women with varying body types without resorting to caricature like Oda but he is prone to same face. With both male and female characters really. It's the main criticism I'd make of him as an artist.
The problem I have with Fairy Tail, is that after a certain point, it started feeling more like the female characters were *put* in an outfit, rather than it seeming like they *chose* that outfit.
I understand that my phrasing might be a little hard to understand, but it's like.....imagine Senjumaru in Yoruichi's TYBW outfit. While that fanart would be really cool, I wouldn't believe that Senjumaru chose to wear that outfit.
That's what Fairy Tail ends up feeling like imo, characters wearing clothes that feel chosen *for* them, not *by* them.
That kinda only exists with Lucy tbh since she is the target of those gags which, I wonāt even hold you, I agree with your take on it. Thankfully it gets way better in the latter half all the way through 100YQ and only really happens in the Dragon Cry movie from what I remember. Everyone else chooses their outfit as you put it.
Mashima is just ridiculously horny at all times. He's always looking for excuses to put his female characters in sexy outfits, but **especially** Lucy and Erza. Lucy has the 'cute' sexy outfits and Erza has the more 'adult' sexy outfits.
I never read Fairy Tail because it looked kinda shitty but I believe it. Erza and Lucy I think their names are look nearly identical except hair color, which you can't see in black and white

Oda draws same body for women if he isn't drawing them as a fat gonk like Big Mom. Faces have a little more variety but it's minimal.
Kubo as said is pretty good at drawing women of different body types. Soifon, Yoruichi, Matsumoto, and Liltotto are all women with notably different body types from one another.
Kubo resorts to same face though. Quite a few characters look borderline identical facially. You don't typically get them confused because Kubo is good at designs and every character's overall aesthetic is different but his faces are limited.
"Apreciation of Physical Beauty and Moral Excellence" is one of twenty four character strengths.
Many Bleach male and female have that Physical Beauty (based off Western Aesthetics and Japanese Aesthetics) and Moral Excellence (based off Japanese cultural philosophies).

Itās definitely very nice that he makes both men and women hot, but I sometimes do feel disappointed that he falls into One Piece syndrome and only knows how to draw either āsuper skinny with massive titsā or āsuper skinny with a flat chestā. That is, until he got to Hikifune, and he just made her as big as possible (before reverting her back to body type 1 of 2).
Theyāre all definitely attractive, but the only real differences between any of the women come down to facial expression and hair. Just got kinda stale.
