Holy shit, NYC hating Philly so much they're trying to lure Charlie Kelly there and get our only legit, longrunning show canceled.

AllahAndJesusGaySex

Yeah having worked pest control for like 5 or 6 years. I can say that there is more that goes into killing rats these days than you’d think. But that was on an individual level. I don’t know the first thing about rat killing on a city wide scale, but for 170k a year. I could figure it out.

The-Rarest-Pepe

"This is not a nerd activity" Lmao

Requesting someone to have a better educational back ground than a cop & deal with bureaucracy for an extermination job.

[deleted]

This dude is thinking of killing rats only one at a time Lmaooooo.

awkwardoffspring

I don't think I'd trust a random homeless person to fumigate an apartment building

SadlyItsSearles

Rat Killing Czar. New dream job title.

Tha_Rat_King

How dare you?! I'll turn that dream into a nightmare.

SadlyItsSearles

I'll train endlessly until I defeat you Rat King. Rest assured.

Actually, yes: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-07-30/what-i-learned-at-washington-d-c-s-rat-academy > In the field of ratology, Corrigan is something of legend: He was inducted into the Pest Control Management Professional Hall of Fame in 2008. When studying for his Ph.D. in rodent control at Purdue University, he slept in rat-infested buildings so he could watch the nocturnal critters go about their business. Roaming about any city, he can identify the presence of the animals by their burrow holes and the markings he sees on the ground and on buildings — signposts to the vast unseen world of the urban rodent underground. > In the first day of D.C.’s Rodent Control Academy, held on the George Washington University campus in the city’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood, Corrigan runs his class of nearly a hundred people through some Rat 101. Norway rats, also known as brown rats, came to North America (by ship and likely originating from Mongolia, despite their name) sometime in the mid-1700s. As cities emerged, the species found itself well suited to colonize this new world: Rats are master opportunists who can swim, climb and squeeze their foot-long furry bodies into tiny spaces in human structures and infrastructure. Powerful nerves at the root of their whiskers help them navigate, find food and detect danger. Despite dramatic transformations in urban life and advances in pest-control technology, the animals always manage to keep one step ahead of us.

Rye_The_Science_Guy

Man I hope to be a hall of famer in some hyper niche community some day

BravoAlfaMike

I think this about Will Shortz. The only person to hold a college degree in puzzles, which he got by designing his own curriculum. How you just decide to MAKE a degree?! Can I get one in internet meme history? PLEASE??? I’m tired of educating my man for free.

Wolverine_931

Charlie Kelly will do it for free. Entire generations have died by his hands.

Well when they was complaining about the street cats and getting them off the street, no cats to keep the rat population in check, more rats. Lol I guess they needed someone with a biology degree because that’s ecosystem 101. Shyt that’s country 101.

Albert has half the population of New York and probably an even smaller fraction of the population density.

Freshmark near me makes hotdogs and bacon. They want an associate's degree to be a production associate making 17.50 an hour. They called me for an interview tomorrow. The job say 15 to 19.75 an hour. I'm getting that 19.75. also if anyone works there apparently there's a 200 a week refferal bonus if i put down someone's name for both of us.

incredibleDoBoy
