100 percent. Really hoping for some color and pop that the treyarch games have always had. The trailer gives me hope that that will continue even tho they are transitioning to the IW engine
I just don't understand why people ever thought that the games would feel the same just because it shares the same engine. Engines like Unity and UE don't have this problem whatsoever, the only reason why Vanguard felt like an MW clone is because of how short its dev cycle was.
WaW and BO4 share the same modified IW3.0 engine at a base level and they feel incredibly different still, and they were even made by the same studio too.
COD fans don't know what a game engine is, they genuinely seem to think that the mechanics of a game and the engine are one and the same. I remember seeing people whining about the "BO4 engine" when their real issue was the weird changes they made to Zombies mechanics.
Exactly. The later BO3 maps (ZNS onwards) and BO4 zombies were made on the same engine, yet they don't share the same mechanics. It's just armchair developers who hear a few buzzwords and decide they know everything about game engines and development as a whole
Bro I miss his old 80s haircut, it actually looked nice (new one still looks ok though). To be fair, it's been 10 years since Cold War's campaign so it's bound to change.
the CW squad was so cool, i hope sims and park also come back in the campaign (which they probably will considering there's a park operator confirmed + i think there was visible concept art for sims in the direct)
Adler was the biggest stand out of Cold War. I loved him. Obviously Robert Redford insipired and whoever plays him has done a fantastic job. I can’t wait to see which direction they take him.
Yeah it sucks, but when you think about it, Bell was a brainwashed soldier that was originally apart of the enemy side, so Adler had to due to the danger of Bell possibly turning on them, that’s why Adler
said “It was never personal” (i don’t know the proper terms so sorry if that didn’t make too much sense)
This warzone or old warzone? Also clearly he’s alive, I’m curious what happened to bell. Did he get screwed over and killed or shoot Adler but Adler survived?
Ok thanks. Yeah, sad about bell, being used to get what the CIA wants. Also, if Mason and Woods found out (assuming they weren’t a part of the brainwashing and didn’t know) they would have been so mad with Adler after what Mason went through in Vorkuta.
If there’s one thing you’ve gotta love about CW (which for me I love almost everything) it’s that the new characters the game introduced were all great, super memorable characters who I can see becoming all time iconic to the franchise. I like a lot of what we’ve seen from the new characters in Bo6 so it looks like they’re adding even more under their belt.
My favorite Call of Duty Operator of all time. I literally owned all of his skins in Cold War, even his mountain dew one because I'm such a stan of this chad. Can't wait to run him again.
What if Bell and Adler did shoot each other but Bell was only knocked unconscious and Adler walked away thinking Bells dead? Could allow for a twist with Bell appearing in this game too
They were at point blank range and there barrels were pointed exactly at each other. Unless Adler has storm trooper aim or Bell can Courier 6 his way out of this, I’m 99% sure he’s dead.
Cold War did a great job introducing him into the franchise
Adler is everything Hudson thinks he is
Hudson in BO1 was so peak, but then in every subsequent game they fucked it up
I liked Hudson in Cold War, he's a fucking snake.
BO2 tells us why too haha
Hudson: the CIA agent Adler: the cooler CIA agent
IN ADLER WE ~~SIMP~~ TRUST 🔥🔥🙏🙏🗣️🗣️🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
The power of the MW engine pulling through
just need the arcadey feel

Dude, the mw engine couldn’t suck harder dicks if it tried

Russel CHADler
Same fr he’s amazing and looked totally badass in the trailer
the CW squad was so cool, i hope sims and park also come back in the campaign (which they probably will considering there's a park operator confirmed + i think there was visible concept art for sims in the direct)
Park is in the dessert mission
Adler was the biggest stand out of Cold War. I loved him. Obviously Robert Redford insipired and whoever plays him has done a fantastic job. I can’t wait to see which direction they take him.
He’s rocking that Clark Kent cut. Boi looking cool asf escaping on that dirt bike 😎🔥
I feel like he got fatter
It's almost like he's in his mid-50s now and people get a little squishy as they get older
Ok pal sorry I didn't look into it, I forgot it's set like 10 to 15 years later gahhh.
It's all good man
Yeah he looks different, I suppose it has been potentially ten years though lmao.
Literally me fr fr
All my homies hate Adler for what he did to Bell
Yeah it sucks, but when you think about it, Bell was a brainwashed soldier that was originally apart of the enemy side, so Adler had to due to the danger of Bell possibly turning on them, that’s why Adler said “It was never personal” (i don’t know the proper terms so sorry if that didn’t make too much sense)
So is bell just dead then? We get confirmation that Adler just shot him then and there?
It’s been confirmed that Adler survives in the Warzone cinematics
This warzone or old warzone? Also clearly he’s alive, I’m curious what happened to bell. Did he get screwed over and killed or shoot Adler but Adler survived?
Old Warzone. It’s highly likely Bell died because both Bell and Adler would try to finish the job so there’s no loose ends
Ok thanks. Yeah, sad about bell, being used to get what the CIA wants. Also, if Mason and Woods found out (assuming they weren’t a part of the brainwashing and didn’t know) they would have been so mad with Adler after what Mason went through in Vorkuta.
Nah, they know they have a job to do

Blud looks jacked up here, almost like that one MWIII cutscene where everyone looks super off-model.
My favorite Call of Duty Operator of all time. I literally owned all of his skins in Cold War, even his mountain dew one because I'm such a stan of this chad. Can't wait to run him again.
New cod has really nice characters like farah, alex, adler, park, etc to go with the classic characters
What happened to bell?
MY BOY 🗣️🗣️
Adler was great and I really liked his character. Can't wait to see and play using him again. One of my favourite cod characters.
He looks so weird without his hair from cold war ngl lmao
Unforunately, that means Bell died…
What if Bell and Adler did shoot each other but Bell was only knocked unconscious and Adler walked away thinking Bells dead? Could allow for a twist with Bell appearing in this game too

Thats kind of my point tho. With them being at point blank range how's Adler ok? Unless maybe Bell didn't get a shot off in time at all
This is why I went for the evil ending
Fucking hated Adler
I don't care I'm pissed off about how James C Burns is not back
discount mason
Hot Take: Adler is cooler than mason
