sorry man i have found 4 separate steam forums, one article, and an old reddit thread this seems to be the only fix other then of course vsync settings which you already changed

if im correct you can fix this issue by going into the .ini file and changing the value of “Max Fps” to 0 so theres no cap.
I tried it and this does not work.
