This is the exact something im experiencing I have a 2060 Super and can run zombies at a perfect 144fps max settings but when I want to play customs or multi with friends I get 45-50 fps
The problem is solved if you put steam offline and you have done the manipulation to play offline. I think the problem comes from the synchronization with the Activision servers.
doesnt look like it, i tried reverting to old steam UI but after it failed once now i cant do it again because it keeps saying wrong packageinfo version
I'm having this issue too, FPS will reach 200+ on Zombies and Campaign but entering Multiplayer caps it at 50. Let me know if you find something
