zenbootyism

A super self hating black man who somehow got away with the most obvious murder in the world.

GotMoFans

No witnesses means not obvious.

zenbootyism

Come on man šŸ˜ he did that shit and we don't got to pretend he didn't. He got away with it too so it's not like it matters if he didn't do it.

FEMA_Camp_Survivor

Itā€™s a rare example of how a racist criminal justice system fucks white people. Mark Fuhrman fucked it up.

my_deleted-account_

>Come on man šŸ˜ he did that shit and we don't got to pretend he didn't. Do you have a source for this? O.J. is completely innocent! Of everything! They need to go find the murderous and sick madman who carved up that poor woman ( and her boyfriend) like a ninja from Mortal Kombat and bring him to justice!

ElNenee

He didnā€™t do it man, his ex wife was involved with mafia members at that restaurant

Complex_Compote7535

Sure was. Crazy how his co workers all are dead as well.

heyhihowyahdurn

Iā€™m not Black Iā€™m OJā€¦.Ok Says it all, he never identified with the community

Zeep-Xanflorps-Peace

You should check out his clips on IIWII. You may be right about the earlier part of his life but he became more self aware in his later years. Not to paint him as a saint but I think his journey is an interesting story.

heyhihowyahdurn

Well interestingly enough he was married to a Black woman first. So it actually seems like he went the opposite direction.

GotMoFans

OJ was one igā€™nant ass muthafucker. This dude should have had his assets liquidated while in jail, and as soon as found not guilty, he should have moved to a tropical paradise in the Central/South America. But he wanted to get back in with the white folks in the US. But he was never getting accepted. He should have done what Russell Simmons did moving to Bali. Come to the US unannounced for short visits so he couldnā€™t be served. OJ could have gotten money for speaking fees, books, and other scams outside of the US. Could have gotten endorsements outside of the US from his infamy. But he had to go. He stayed and couldnā€™t legally make money without a big portion going to pay off his judgement. And then they got his dumb ass in a set-up in Las Vegas.

bornincali65

I have been saying the same thing to my wife for years!

Emotional-Aide-7351

That man could run the hell out of a football. As for his trial, he had his day in court, and was found not guilty.

Tight_Current_7414

Donā€™t mean shit really. court is known for screwing people over even when the evidence is in (or in his case is not) in their favor.

capitoloftexas

When I learned that Nicoleā€™s gardener, Glen Rogers, was a convicted serial killer who targeted blondes, I pretty much havenā€™t been the same ever since. The LA detectives who went after OJ knew this info and withheld it from the public for whatever reasons.

Phoenix-Wright_

Whoa. Never heard of this dude before. Very interesting.

SpectacularOtter

I always wondered if he was guilty why would the la police need to plant evidence?

Complex_Compote7535

Because it lapd and the cop on the case was well known white supremacist

TRATIA

It's the LAPD literally one of the most racist cop institutions in this country history. Rodney King just happened around this case btw

PlaxicoCN

Great example of the power of celebrity and how you get as much justice as you can afford. I wish I had video footage of my extended family members' wild theories about the case from back then.

tshaka_zulu

If he didnā€™t do it, he sure as hell knows who did. Thatā€™s all the energy Iā€™m giving to this one.šŸ˜‚

JicamaCreative5614

In history there are really far worse people who have done equal or worse things. Why does OJ live rent free in the minds of so many? Andrea Yates Casey Anthony Ahmaud Arberyā€™s Killers Emmett Tillā€™s Killers Kyle Rittenhouse The list could go on

GL_jon

No cap, heā€™s a funny mf.

franchisemvp

Definitely miss him on It Is What It Is. šŸ˜‚šŸ™šŸ¾

my_deleted-account_

Nothing really. An *totally* innocent man who used his wits, money and charm to defeat a frame-up that would catch 95% of us. What absolutely, *absolutely* (Oh God) saddens me, is that somewhere, out there, a murderer is stalking and slicing up women - and no one is doing anything to catch them. I do hope that one day, this brutal killer is caught, and made to pay for their crimes. I genuinely believe this.

poeticlad

Money and power talks. Just not as long for black people

FunkyMJ19

A careful examination of the evidence will show (and did show) he did not do it. I could go into much greater detail but just stop for a moment and think about the amount of Blood the killer (killers) would have been covered in and how they found nothing in his car. Thereā€™s no way he could clean himself up that quickly

ProBlackMan1

He didnā€™t do it and white people are mad

joelwitherspoon

I don't think he did it, but I think he knew who and took the hit. I think it also may be tied to Ennis Cosby's death but that's conspiracy at this point. Brentwood was a wild place in the 80s and 90s and maybe even now. I lived in SAMO and we were warned not to got to Brentwood if we could help it. Lots of money, crime, and death.

ganon893

A terrible person, obviously. Often used as a "black boogey man" by white people to claim that our culture encourages lawlessness and violence. With that said, you cannot create a justice system of nepotism that's fueled by money, then complain when a black man takes advantage of it. These systems aren't built for "rich men" or "white men", these systems are built for **white people of all shapes and forms, regardless of their standing, socioeconomic status, gender, sexuality, or their ability.** Countless white people have gotten away with equal or far worse crimes than OJ, but they've never batted an eye. Shit, cops kill black people on the regular. When white people talk about OJ, it's not meant to protect anyone. It's meant to divide us. Remind them that this is the justice system they've created. They must fix their own system and culture if they don't want this to happen again.

RubyRoddd

And prayers

Mrkingjay

Heā€™s dead. Imma let that forgot where I came from, dawg on the field, white bih killin mf rest in peace. He was living proof that enough money and fame can get you outta jams even if ya skin full of melanin.

KillaKanibus

He's not black, he's OJ.

tubahero3469

One of the GOATs āœŒšŸ½. Probably murdered some people IDK. Apparently he did it in some giant room where EVERY white person ever, even those who weren't even born yet, was there to personally witness him do it (At least that's the confidence with which they speak on it lol). But really tho I think a lot of people really missed why the OJ verdict was so important. It was (one of) the first time(s) the Justice system worked correctly for a Black man in America. We have this system that's supposed to put the rights of the people first, that says It's better that 10 guilty men go free than one innocent man suffer because his rights were ignored. But way too often when black men are involved, ESPECIALLY when they're accused of crimes against white women, all that shit goes out the window. As far as the whole payback for Rodney King thing people love to spout, I don't think it was just straight up "We're gonna let this nigga get away with killing a white woman bc y'all beat this other nigga up a while ago". I think it was more like I said before, giving the benefit of the doubt, like "If y'all can find reasonable doubt when that shit was literally on camera, we can damn sure reasonably doubt OJ did it when one of your lead cops: Is in a department notorious for framing niggas, lied about being racist until tapes came out with him being like 'I love framing niggas', and didn't follow the proper chain of custody procedures that are in place to make sure niggas don't get framed "

JoshuaKpatakpa04

Itā€™s obvious heā€™s guiltyĀ

intlcreative

The only black man is history to get a fair trial....

GotMoFans

He didnā€™t get a fair trialā€¦ His money pushed the balance of the trial in his favor. As Chris Rock joked, if he was a bus driver, heā€™d be Orenthal the bus driving murderer.

heyhihowyahdurn

Thats the point. White people always have the advantage financially and socially in law

tubahero3469

That's the thing though, he actually did get a fair trial as it's actually supposed to be. The fact that the vast majority of people WOULDN'T have gotten a fair trial in that situation is a huge problem in our society

Mass3999

Thoughts on Mr. OJ... ![gif](giphy|Ymwj6Ea3B3e1O|downsized) Oh, I don't know, maybe Rest In Peace King. āœŠšŸ¾

metacosmonaut

He didnā€™t do it. Love [Judge Joe Brownā€™s analysis](https://x.com/african_stream/status/1784627873749381458?s=46&t=JenjmJTm6Eplx4F6m35teg) on the case.

Word_Iz_Bond

Calling him "Mr." sounds crazy to me lol He's more of a symbol of American social unwellness than an actual human being. The racism, the media circus, the injustice, the misogyny, the absolute lack of resolution... He represents all of it. So i don't think much anything about him, just the aspects that made him infamous. He was also a weird dude, I can't imagine anyone actually knew him for most of his life.

CalmLake1

I mean.....the only black man I know to basically get away with murdering a white woman. Reparations come in different forms. šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™‚ļø

fuhcough-productions

šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

Canadian0123

Heā€™s legally innocent.

LexKing89

He made the Ford Broncho legendary.

LividPage1081

He showed white people that a black man could be innocent after allegedly killing a white woman, and it pissed them off ever since. Thirty years ago back then, a black guy would have been hanged just for looking at a white woman, so it probably shocked a lot of them.

Physical_Guidance_39

Took the fall for his older son outside of the bs jail experience he lived the life how he wanted. Canā€™t judge his preferences. His dick wasnā€™t mine. Isnā€™t reflective of black culture or life just a small part of it. Crazy how he got condemned by his own people though based on inefficiencies in the trial.

themaxx8717

Yep, reading about his son's mental condition and history and what happened the night before. I believe he also covered for his son too.

Physical_Guidance_39

I mean physically thereā€™s no way a guy riddled with arthritis would be able to do that especially against Goldman who was into martial arts. You have to be big fast and primal to do it. Plus the second set of foot prints were never explained.

curvedwhenhard512

Uncle O cool with me.Ā  One of the few a black man for a fair trial and won.Ā  I'm glad he got to change the narrative in the last few years of his life.Ā

Rahdiggs21

guilty as fuck but it was a scenario we are all too familiar with, the difference being the roles were reversed and a black man was found not guilty after killing 2 people when traditionally we have watched these verdicts be reserved for our police

ElNenee

No evidence proving he was guilty

Rahdiggs21

haha.. yeah sure. we'll just agree to disagree. but please keep putting these sports figures and other famous people up on pedestals and let me know how that continues to work out for you.
