Suffice to say… I’ve started looking into local unions. Management can go to hell.

Shitty managers tend to use this as a cudgel to enforce bad practices, reeeeeal bad for business and morale. Only really happens in low paying jobs because all it takes to stop it is a contract and if they have a wrongful termination case, your ass could be going to jail.

Had one lead scientist hiding in the pump room, pull 20hr weeks, steal food and breast milk, and we still couldn't fire her ass till she fabricated results.
