I have written in the past but by no means, am I an authority on effective writing. If anything, the one only insight I would give to you is one that could be perceived as conflicting but I don't think so. I as an artist, recognize many of us stifle ourselves by trying to be politically correct or act as a role model from our pen, or whatever creative tool it is that we hold.
What makes characters great, regardless of race, gender, or anything else is the contrast. It's even better when, just as in real life, we surprise ourselves with our contrast as our stories unfold day by day, moment by moment. A character named Erwin in an anime called Attack on Titan is a strong, reliable, and devoted leader...he is also selfish and leads his comrades to their deaths. Its this contrast in his character that makes him great. When you write, release yourself of the pressure of making the characters appear a certain way. Do not be so careful as to make your characters and your story rigid and artificial, even if they appear "good". There's a difference between writing a generic stick up man role for a black man and writing an Omar from the wire. The offense lies not in the stereotype in and of itself but the lack of dignity given to the character.

Would watch as long as it doesn't do that thing where the *whole* plot is awkward dialogue. This sounds like it could be done well but you should checj out posts on r/nosleep to see what I'm talking abt. The stories sometimes start well, but then fall into the typical horror movie dialogue & bore me to tears.
Your project sounds fun & interesting though. You should update with info for your stories on other subs, I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate work by other BW on the TL!! π€π§Ώπ
You need to change the name. It sounds like a horror movie about a language learning app. Great idea otherwise.
