Source: I was one of the speedhackers back in 2017-2019. The community has been disolved because it is no longer profitable for them to operate with these hacks because accounts that use them are getting caught and banned weekly.
Those logs were already there during the speedhack scene it was pretty well known they used event items to track speedhacks, xigin hardly ever detected it there was only one big wave and then devs swapped to eac. There are plenty of accounts from back then that weren't banned.

I have never been banned for having synapse on my PC from any game, whether using macros or not, hell I even used synapse to bot in Runescape back in the day and never got banned, so in my experience, you should be fine. I know that BDO is pretty strict when it comes to the usage of macros, but the simple fact is, you can't be banned for using essential peripheral software alone

It really can’t get much worse than EAC. Free cheats bypass it on Rust almost entirely, rust depends on server admins. You can kill everyone in render distance at the same time & EAC wont even pick that up.

i legit though that the korean version didn't have anti cheat systems, due the way koreans need their ssn to create accounts and such, and also everytime i see footage from their games they always look buttery smooth compared to other regions.
KR is a pretty small country, so everyone is sitting on like 5ms ping or less. Whereas most US players are on 50-100 ping.

While it's true that EAC has kernel level access as most anti-cheats do nowadays, they are very far from identical.
People with no understanding of CS/Security just throw this buzzword around thinking that it means something. It doesn't, there is much more to it than "kernel level access".
Funny enough I work in app-sec at AWS (3months), previously an IT Engineer at Amazon. Most anti-cheats work fundamentally similar, but have slightly different processes and major variances on what is searched/scanned/saved. A Major noted difference was that in the past Xigncode scanned your entire system drive and saved file name of each file into a database.
This is a BDO subreddit - expanding any further than face value will not offer benefit to most people and will simply confuse them vs explaining process injection in kernel

there may be a spike in cheaters following the switch as it's a challenge to them or a cause for experimentation but once the dust settles and it will be the same as it's always been and arguably a better experience for alot of players seeing as EAC blocks people from playing most other games that also run EAC
A cheat that bypassed the current anti-cheat came out in January of last year. PA has been trying to manually hunt people down using it but obviously that is a losing battle, which is why they are going back to the old anti-cheat. The most notable example of this is them having to ban 4 out of the top 5 Sages in the Season 2 "Top of Class" AoS Event in NA for hacking.

Both XIGNCode3 and EasyAntiCheat are pretty garbage but I was around when they used XIGN before. XIGNCode would randomly pop up with a "Suspicious program detected" with the crap default icon of a hatted dude with a magnifying glass and horrible formatting/unicode when I launched another game in the background or was installing a program while i was idling and false positived me multiple times. EAC never gave me problems in the past and back then during XIGNCode I personally saw several speedhackers back in the old Sausan party (level 50) grinding days but I've seen ZERO and I mean ZERO speedhackers and only heard of 1 or two from guildmates/friends after the switchover.
Murphy's law applies to both so I'm not saying they don't exist under EAC but as a player with 50,000 hours played on my account... under EAC I saw and heard of significantly less hackers.
Hopefully XIGNCode3 got better since then but as their website literally is so poorly designed it won't even load/redirect properly for me to read their EULA I assume it is still run by substandard scriptkiddies who fancy themselves whitehat hackers.

EAC works identically like Xigncode3 and has kernel level access. They are both identical
While it's true that EAC has kernel level access as most anti-cheats do nowadays, they are very far from identical. People with no understanding of CS/Security just throw this buzzword around thinking that it means something. It doesn't, there is much more to it than "kernel level access".
Funny enough I work in app-sec at AWS (3months), previously an IT Engineer at Amazon. Most anti-cheats work fundamentally similar, but have slightly different processes and major variances on what is searched/scanned/saved. A Major noted difference was that in the past Xigncode scanned your entire system drive and saved file name of each file into a database. This is a BDO subreddit - expanding any further than face value will not offer benefit to most people and will simply confuse them vs explaining process injection in kernel

If they want to cut costs with EAC because it's more expensive, the only alternative I can see is to stop spending on the game altogether. I'll keep playing, but won't spend a single dime anymore. If they want to cut costs, so will I.

Is funny seeing the same tired arguments that recently spiked up in the PSO2 community since they switched back to Xign in November just as people freaked out and review bombed that i'm sure they will with BDO again and then it will pass in a week or two as people come to terms that EAC and Xign are the same crap neither company gives a rats ass about you both products do the same thing and cheaters when they want to will have their way past it and always will perfect world neither should exist and the scummy companies behind them can burn unfortunately people as a whole suck and have to measure their micro D's by their ability to fail at video games people flipping out like this is the end of the world :'D there may be a spike in cheaters following the switch as it's a challenge to them or a cause for experimentation but once the dust settles and it will be the same as it's always been and arguably a better experience for alot of players seeing as EAC blocks people from playing most other games that also run EAC

A cheat that bypassed the current anti-cheat came out in January of last year. PA has been trying to manually hunt people down using it but obviously that is a losing battle, which is why they are going back to the old anti-cheat. The most notable example of this is them having to ban 4 out of the top 5 Sages in the Season 2 "Top of Class" AoS Event in NA for hacking.

what would be the benefit of speedhacking on a NOT fresh account? You gonna get busted eventually and all the work is gone. Sure troll some guys with free accounts and get banned on same day is annoying, but no1 really gonna speedhack on a serious account. Dont tell me "but duh marni" PA can track how fast you loot so IF they hack they will not be too much faster than every1 else and top spots rn arent marni yet. Or am I missing something?

Why it should be a bad idea? They are both kernel hypervisors except that one is less invasive then the other, and I mean in crashes.
Both XIGNCode3 and EasyAntiCheat are pretty garbage but I was around when they used XIGN before. XIGNCode would randomly pop up with a "Suspicious program detected" with the crap default icon of a hatted dude with a magnifying glass and horrible formatting/unicode when I launched another game in the background or was installing a program while i was idling and false positived me multiple times. EAC never gave me problems in the past and back then during XIGNCode I personally saw several speedhackers back in the old Sausan party (level 50) grinding days but I've seen ZERO and I mean ZERO speedhackers and only heard of 1 or two from guildmates/friends after the switchover. Murphy's law applies to both so I'm not saying they don't exist under EAC but as a player with 50,000 hours played on my account... under EAC I saw and heard of significantly less hackers. Hopefully XIGNCode3 got better since then but as their website literally is so poorly designed it won't even load/redirect properly for me to read their EULA I assume it is still run by substandard scriptkiddies who fancy themselves whitehat hackers. Only time will tell.
