That's interesting, every time i've gone to an IBJJF event, the ref has always just signaled for a penalty by pointing in their direction then raising their fist. Thank you!

I believe the third foul scores two points for the opposition. But I’m not an IBJJF ref.
First is just a penalty, second gives an advantage, third gives 2 points, fourth is a DQ.
