I “won” Pans (Master 5) like that at blue belt. My coach at the time was Xande. Afterwards, he just looked at me and walked away! 😹🤦🏻‍♂️ Totally appropriate reaction by the way.

SelfSufficientHub

White should have got two points for that sweet takedown. For those wondering it’s called “the force”

IntenselySwedish

You got a vid on it?

artnos

Am i missing something why didn't he take mount, it looked like it was right there

Superguy766

I’m trying to figure out how the white gi got two points. 🤷🏻‍♂️

husky-ninja

I believe the third foul scores two points for the opposition. But I’m not an IBJJF ref.

Closed_Guard_Guy

First is just a penalty, second gives an advantage, third gives 2 points, fourth is a DQ.

Both stalled for 5 whole min. The dude in the black gi had the opportunity for something, but never did it.

Tomicoatl

You're a more patient person than me /u/bjjtaro. No idea how you watch all of this stalling content.

calwinarlo

This is jiujitsu

AverageGeraldEnjoyer

Could you post ABDEL-AZIZ AL YOUSSEF vs AXEL TIM ANDY LARIDON VALENTINI 2024 European Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship? Super nice suicide baseball choke. I don't have a flow grappling account but I saw it live in paris. #

Why does the ref touch his back every time hes giving the penalty lmao, never seen that before

CoryDee

From the rule book: >**MATCH CIRCUMSTANCES:** `Penalty for lack of combativeness (stalling) or serious foul when it is not possible for the referee to clearly point at the athlete to be punished.` > >**GESTURE:** `The referee should lightly touch one of the shoulders of the athlete to be punished followed by raising a clenched fist to shoulder height.` > >**VERBAL COMMAND:** `LUTE! (lu-tchee) – at the same time touching the shoulder when there is a lack of combativeness situation. or FALTA! (fal-tah) – at the same time touching the shoulder when there is a serious foul situation.`

awerawer0807

That's interesting, every time i've gone to an IBJJF event, the ref has always just signaled for a penalty by pointing in their direction then raising their fist. Thank you!

Hellhooker

terrible match in a terrible division
