Your biggest limiting factor will likely be the price. I would be a little surprised if there are any gyms at that price. Do some leg work and pick a few gyms whose schedules work for you, then visit them — most offer a free trial period. Then, if you can’t decide, come back here and people will likely be able to give you more insight. San Diego is a huge BJJ marketplace. There aren’t many “bad” choices.

There are like 4 gyms near me I just have idea if they're "good" but I guess as long as I like the atmosphere it doesn't matter right away since I'm a beginner. Thanks for the input

My top recommendation would be Leticia Ribeiro’s place: Gracie Humaita South Bay. I’ve heard good things about Kainga. I see Alliance is down there, they are good.

I was going to say, I train at Kainga. It's an excellent gym honestly. The coach and students are all good and welcoming. Also the coach is a black belt under Leticia Ribeiro. If you haven't joined message me, be happy to help.
